Romantic Angle-Is it really needed in Crime Shows? - Page 2

I agree with debashree, if you go and have a sneak peak at all the detective series airing on television we have some or the other romantic tracks.

CID though seems sober yet seem to be going on the same track. Some love interest I wouldn't mind like there was a minor indication between Vivek and Tasha. I had no issues with it. But some I just can't accept. For instance it's been 3-4 years now for Abhijeet Tarika track I am still not able to accept it. Same goes with Daya Shreya track. I cannot accept that too. I like Jhanvi as an actress, I also like Shreya but not as Daya sir's love interest.

On the contrary I liked Daya Asha relation, so professional and friendly. They were of same age but yet so friendly and good, the way you and me would behave with our colleagues.

I think this kind of relation is more acceptable as well as its sober & love to see it...

Those who think that its needed please share your views that why its needed...

while i really encourage that our men have normal lives and dont lead it like machines but i seriously discourage these romantic tracks...

i really dont know the reason for my dislike but ya we have it enough in our dailys so something pertaining to CID should be shown in the show

Exactly we can see Mon-Thurs all shows are related to love/family drama then why this track adds in crime shows like cid (i dnt want to comment other crime shows)...

specially the bonding b/w male n female cops should b shown none other than a friendly one !

cz it's not written anywhere that whenever a man n a woman r together.. the bond they share must b romance.. it could b a loyal friendship juz like ABHI-DAYA BOND !

Suppose in office there are both men & women employees present but is that mean they have love relation with each other rather they have some friendly relation which is very natural...
Even in past the CID also showed same type of scenario with Asha-Abhijeet-Daya, Vivek-Tasha etc...

Me too agrees with Jasmine di. Many people in FB want to see love track in CID. As other shows of this genre move on to this path may be FW may be thinking why should they leave behind. And to beat the other shows they are introducing D-S track. Can't blame FW or SONY totally for it. They have been getting hype in rat race of trp and encouraging feedback for love track from sources. But I personally hate introduction of love track in crime showes (NOM). I also can't accept AT track. Now this DS track get on my nerves. And after showing the last scene of last night's epi it add to my agony that FW is handling this too in a improper way. I will be happy if they stop showing this romantic track and start improving normal cases. Completely second Sonali di, Mano di and Deba di's posts. Friendship does not only mean for same gender.

I want CID to only show crime and investigation and to only concentrate on that.
It doesn't matter what they are having in their personal life but when you gave the show a name Crime Investigation Department then you better only show us crime and stuff with some fun scenes b/w duo and trio... that's it...
