Yes di, you are absolutely right..that's the main and sole reason we still love and adore the show very much and watch it. And that's why we are hurt so much helplessly seeing it deteriorating.

with due respect to my all friends here, I wish to ask you a few

question about the recent ongoing relationship between senior

inspector Daya and inspector Shreya. Firstly, it is obvious that in

a crime show there should be less scope for romance and the most of

the importance should be given upon the plot of the story and

carrying out the whole operation, but my question is if there

shouldn't be any place for their emotion then why we have been

getting delighted over the bond of Daya and Abhijeet? If there

shouldn't be a tint of place for their personal lives then how

could we accept the scenes where the duo or trio share any humorous

or emotional conversation? why we love to see their indissoluble

bond? ---beacuse it refelcts the pure concern and care, pure love

and affection for each other... now love could have different

shades and thus in case of shreya and daya, they might have been

caring each other, impelled by a subtle feeling. Is it so

outrageous and unacceptable if we take it as a very soft concern

for each other instead of stereo type word 'romance' which pens our

imagination to a certain limit that man woman relationship beyond

friendship should be something bizzare and even prohibited to

discuss about?
If we can swoon over a man named Daya, who has every good quality

to be cared for, to be loved and admired then why can't a female

officer feel the same..even more for him? because we are admiring

him remaining distant but Shreya is working with him each and every

day experiencing the minute details of the humane side of his

character and feeling the depth of his noble heart ... Is it so

impossible and implausible if she keeps Daya in a very special

place in her heart out of ineffable reaspect and reverence?
It is not to hurt anyone's feelings but somehow I feel since long

that inspector daya deserves someone who could respect him

immensely and who could care him from the core of her heart.
It is not the case that I want to see them dancing and singing in a

show like CID, beacuse it's a thriller show.. but so far as their

relationship is concerned it has been handled quite sagaciously...

I feel that, at least much better than of Abhijit Tarika flirting

scenes of forensic lab...
And if the word Love is so outrageous in cid, then CID should be

all about the story, cutting even the friendship bonds and senior

junior or even colleague-colleague bonds and we should therefore be

careful to post anything that is not related to crime or

investigation. (we must resist ourselves then to post that i will

faint to see handsome daya type messages)... isn't it?

I'll tell you Suchi. The issue here is about pairing up cops. This has a few consequences.
1. There'll be romance in the air when investigation is on. If 2 male friends investigate together it doesn't change the atomosphere like a romantic couple. Those slow motion angles and 'tender' glances are out of place in investigation. In a working enviroment, we have many 'friends' but we don't have romantic relations with everyone. Friendship is ok at work place because it doesn't interfere with work.
2. FW doesn't show romance properly. Is romance all about Daya getting his hand cut, shoulder cut...everything cut and Shreya taking out bundles of hankies to tie them in every episode?
3. If they want to show romance, why not a non-cop? Someone who is in Daya's life but a scene or two a month outside the investigation scenes? Is it too much to ask for? Let them show a proper romantic scene...Daya and the girl at a restaurant during non working hours...talking something...maybe a personal track...or like Byomkesh Bakshi...a girl whom Daya meets duing the course of investigations and later falls in love...Abhijeet seeing them both out of the blue...properly pulling Daya's leg...why a cop???? 2 couples in CID team...any female officer has to get paired. First T and now Shreya. Let them pair Purvi also with someone and prove that a guy and girl at workplace can never be 'platonic' friends.
I am not against romance at all...please don't think so. I am for proper, sensible, non-childish romance.

Blue I agree with you completely Vis di. Two supercop are acting like collegegoer shy fiancee. And Shreya just staring at Daya sir nonstop during investigation. If a guy cares for his lady colleague can all say that he is in relationship with her?

100% agree with u @Vis...even i m not against romance...
My point is romance should not affect a cop's personality...
For eg, Till now how many times Daya sir gets hurt except such daya-centric episodes ?? Totally agree with @vis...they want to show that type of bollywood college romance with duo...i m totally against that...I feel awkward when i see such scenes of daya-shreya or abhi-tji but in past when i saw them with purvi, sonali, survi or shruti i never feel awkward...

am still on my point.
freddy is married, and i think even has a son.still cid never focusses on his personal issues right?cant this apply to duo as well?
.duo arent married.looks sad that middleaged men are still single sans a happy married life and family.their parents' marriage wasnt a disaster i hope, nor were they in a disastrous relationship in past.why single?
