I just cant understand some jargon my boss uses...and when I ask him what that is, he explains it like I am a nursery kid,...and makes me feel like an idiot.

ohh come on... You are lucky.. that your boss explains.. imagine... working with so many projects which involve so many short form terms and.. no one tells you what they stand for... i feel ashamed to say i worked in so and so project.. because.. i can't even expand my project name 😡

You know how he expplains...actually I didn't know about swell, tide, tide offsets and what not. So he started off like this...<my name>, You don't live in a city which is close to the sea, do you...have you ever been to a city which has a seashore? I think in India Mumbai has a sea shore...have you ever been there? Have you been to the beaches there? Have you seen the sea water rising and causing huge waves? Yeah...those high waves are called swell. Then thete's another phonemenon called tide which happens due to the sun and moon'... i was laughing away...🤣 thank God we were not on video chat.
