I would say sensible and good actors unlike the fans certainly get tired of not using their skills on any assignments they agree to do. So they leave when they get the chance.I expected this knowing Vikas Kumar's talent and skill. I will tell this one obvious thing which many here are being diplomatic not to say(NOM meant to anyone) . When CID signed up Vikas Kumar they had a talented actor on their hands. What they lacked was good dhamakedar investigative stories to bring out this. Not just this they lack writers who could have written realistic stories involving Abhijeet and Rajat who are very similar in their outlook yet very different to make CID get back to no.1 slot for more than a year very easily. They could have done many other permutation and combinations and come out tops. These stories could have addressed many issues and teach youngsters managing relationships in work places and deal with compitions and come up in win-win situations. This was what CID was in the golden era. Many here on IF learnt to deal with work situations thanks to CID. For many others it was an eye opener. Instead of this, we had shoddy stories where all teh core four and Vikas kumar looked out of place, bored and all talent went waste. It is very obvious when episodes are seen the boredom on their faces. Just having a serial go on for years is no good. Giving quality can make it do wonders anywhere and everywhere. So coming back to this news, it is sad but the expected way in which things will turn out. I wish him all the best. And yes. I will miss him on CID.
