I don't feel like going to office today Its tuesday... Meeting from 6:30 to 9;30

BTW...can anyone tell me how to compress a full size avi video file to fit into a mobile? I want to load 2-3 good movies onto my mobile but it has only 2GB left.

And Asto...my email app is a mess. I am able to send mails, but not receive it...another android issue or what - I don't know...I am tired of it.

Hmm... 🤔 my gmail app is working fine... I think you should try deleting the existing app and download it again... It might fix the issue... The look and feel of the gmail app has changed drastically...but i am not facing any sync issue

Can we uninstall the pre-installed software? I am a bit scared to do it...

Yes ofcourse... Checkout...It is present there free in the app store... then you can easily uninstall and re-install... I have done this many a time on my ipod

Also ...go to accounts & sync and manually try to sync the mail...

If it's a comp, I am confident I can reinstall the OS or anything on my own. But I am not sure about the phone...if something goes wrong on the day of my journey, I can't even use it to make calls/smses...

Even my gmail app works perfect .. even though there's a sammsung mail and social hb app. I still prefer the gmail app separately .. it's working good for me. Try syncing again you know .. maybe log out. And them again log in. Delete you present log in if it's in remember me and automaatically logs in and then sign in again.

Well I toh just have 4 vids saved on mob.baaki I prefer watching on youtube.
I've gor stolen dynamite,highway,stolen car (old) and injured witness saved.

I want to watch some old movies on phone in the train...I got the side berth too...it'll be fun lying down and watching a movie. 😃

Vis... ,you are just uninstalling an app...not the OS... I think you can uninstall it and re-install... nahi toh ek kaam karo..forget the gmail app... add your gmail account to your default mail app provided by android...
