this is sooo sad.. A line of deaths this year...Dev Anand, Shammi Kapoor, Jagjit Singh, Dara Singh and now Rajesh Khanna.

My mother was so upset...she was talking for 2 hours today about her fascination for Rajesh Khanna during school days and how she had to travel 40 kms to see Aradhana with her brothers...how she pestered them to take her a second and third time...and how girls in her class used to get black and white magazines with his pic...she's more upset than me.

After that mera mood itna kharab ho gaya...I couldn't focus on story...thought that looking at some pics of Adi sir will help so decided on trying the VM.

All news channels only showing him and I feel even more sad 😒

I left my work mid way .. I don't know how I'll finish it. I couldn't write anything for the dil ki baat contest jabki it was my idea .. I used to end up thinking of Kaka. I called up my dad who was in office, asked him to come out and started crying (almost) over the phone. I had to go into hideout and get depressed so that my relatives won't find me weird and I see Times Now's Total Recall and feel more worse. I've worshipped him literally. I first saw him when I was 6 in Amar Prem.I didn't understand the intensity of the movie then but the song 'Chingari Koi Bhadke' gripped me so much ... I asked mom "Is this man real ?" 😆 .. I used to sing the song again and again seeing the video and admiring him. I used to cut out news paper clippings if any of his and used to ask my dad to bring his pic's printouts from office. I have a collage made of his .. his smiling pics,sad pics and every expression. I collected his pics till I turned 17 😛 .. I have seen Amar Prem and Anand and even Bawarchi like more than 100 times. Losing him is feeling like losing someone I've known personally for long. I've never felt this depressed .. can't concentrate on anything.

@Sri it is a proud moment that the Canadian news channel is beaming this news. To know that he made an impact across seven seas is something truly precious for us all. He truly is India's first super star.

She is not much aware of all his movies as she mostly watches only telugu movies... but I was telling her the kind of movies he acted in.. his role and especially Anand... Like Bhavs.. Even I must have watched that movie more than 100 times.. and I just can't stop admiring him...
