I have little idea about Paintshop & its not similar to Photoshop...
And i disturbed few creatives on IF for learning it & they help me a lot 😃

Ok .. now I have 7 banners in front of me (ek se bakwaas ek 😆 ) ... trying to chose which one is worse and not worth sending .. my 1st Banner came out well because I made it on PS trial ... now the trial is over and I'm not being able to bring anything to that level again ..

Paint.Net is free and a good one and if you download and install the plugins pack(from here http://paint.net.amihotornot.com.au/Download/PluginsPack/) you can have hunderds of effects.First download Paint.Net and then the plugin.

One person has sent in 2 banners which are mirror images of each other...and the third one is the same with another effect. I PMed the person about it, but there's no response. What do you all suggest about such banners which are nearly the same? Should they be treated as separate banners?

Or should I just post them and the voters choose only one of the 3 similar ones?

The issue is that the same design shouldn't get 3 chances to compete. Others have done 3 completely different banners and it is unfair for the same design to get 3 shots at winning. At the same time if I allow voters to vote for only one of them, the votes will get distrubuted.

Well I'd say let it stay like that Vis .. people will obviously not vote for exact similar ones andd will vote for one of them .. and there's slight change as you said in 1&3 .. let them be as they are.

@Vis...if they have no difference then i think u can reject one & post one...becoz there is no meaning to post 2 same banners as its a contest...
Voter cannot vote the same 2 banners but its not for the voter rather participants who sent totally different 3 banners...

That's what evern I thought...one cannot send 3 similar banners and get 3 chances of winning when others have put in effort to send 3 different banners. But Bhav, Shag and Asto think it's ok...

Already there are around 30 banners...on top of it if there are duplicates it will increase the number without adding value.
