So, in a nutshell... the episode was definitely a pleasant surprise! I guess the execs can't stop themselves from displaying those overly dramatic promos in order to get the radar bleeping wildly. 😆 The "maa" concept was handled and linked to Abhi sir properly enough. Ajay ji made a nice return with a surprisingly well-written plot and script with cool investigation (much better than expected definitely), sensible story/crime motive and just the right amount of emotion in right places. No YSPT or poorly done officer-phasao plot, thank God. I liked the criminal gang concept today (have read about this kind of racket in the newspaper) and the short scene where Daya sir briefs the driver. Nandu sir's direction was cool as well, nicely paced without ever dragging. I hoped the episode wouldn't just end with the phaansi dialogue, and got my wish - the last scene was quite apt and had me with satisfied. 😃

Great performances by Abhijeet and Daya sir, glad to see them working together in quite a few scenes as well. ⭐️ ACP sir was also in cool form in his (rather short) scenes, glad to see Purvi's role being expanded. The team distribution was otherwise rather unsatisfactory with Vivek and the others being merely extras. But chalo, there were more positives to make up for that.

So here's looking forward to some new DPs this weekend! 😉 😆

It was a relief to watch a case where murder was not for money or revenge,... The plot was something which we wanted to see since long.

Abhi sir's maa... 🤔 emotional stuff... maa was overacting a little...

The best part of the case was to make Maa as Abhi sir's friend's Maa 😊

Daya sir was Mr. India most of the time... Looks like Valentine's special is going to be full of Daya sir 😆

But...somehow I again feel that its been 14 years and I think the trick has become so old that anyone can identify who the culprit is... 1) it is going to be the person who has the shortest role during investigation 2) who is a very well known face 😆

When they showed the beggars... sumeetha or whatever the girl's name was so clearly shown and was such a familiar face.. I was sure she was the culprit...

When they hid the face of the photographer in darkness... It was very evident that the person was the one who stepped out of the shop during investigation because he had the shortest role yet he was shown clearly

to my surprise the episode was not anything related to the typical melodrama and neither it was OTT😃...the epi was a decent one...and for a change a logical one😛...well the reason behind the murder was a good one👍🏼...something to do with reality...when the epi began i was shocked by the first scene and thought that pritam and his mother are doing some golmaal but the reason revealed for it was really superb👏...i was happy to see that there was no emotional atyachar for abhi sir...and gosh the banner and the title was just to create a hype for it...i think that epi's name could be better as the title didn't suited the epi...loved to see a pleasant outcome of abhi sir's previous life for the first time...usually he used to suffer due to that but this time it gave him a sweet memory and sweet relations👏...i loved the last scene and pritam's family impressed me by their so genuine behavior😳
performance wise the epi deffo belongs to abhi sir...he was wonderful...
daya sir and acp sir were great
freddy sir and vivek sir were good too
sachin kajal purvi were nice too and nikhil wasn't able to grab attention
i was not so impressed by investigation part but rather than that everything was very nice

The beggars say that some important call was expected by Kanthi... which didn't come because the phone's weren't functioning and the next day morning she left ...

Maa says that someone(borris) called telling that Kanthi's time has come and he will call again. So the call which was picked up by Pritam was not for kanthi...It should have been for Sunitha/sumeetha... or may be the shop owner villain... So which call was kanthi expecting??

There were a few weird scenes

The scene where Abhi sir finds Daya sir's number on Borris's phone...The very next second we suddenly see Abhi sir outside the house and also Daya sir who says Borris was the one who called up at the telephone booth... 😕 It was very abrupt

and more than that

When Maa says that she is feeling scared... purvi tells that she is there with her.. Maa again catches Abhi sir and says she is feeling scared... That scene was like.. totally weird... Daya sir and Purvi abruptly walk off the scene as if the director had told cut but the camera was still rolling.

I think its high time we should accept that duo will be together only in strato scenes or cases...

In today's case ... Duo were together at Abhi sir's house when Maa talks about Abhi sir's shaadi
The next time they were together when Borris was killed .. and I am sure there was a little emotional stuff there too which looks like was edited later

I guess Boris was first supposed to call Sumita (?) with instructions about the murder, and then either he or the photographer dude would call Kanti (the call she was expecting) to some place where she could kill her. Since Boris botches up their plan by speaking to Pritham's mom and they disable the telephones, the second call never comes and Kanti leaves as usual, while the gang moves on target the two unexpected witnesses. It was rather sloppily shown, yeah.
