In Vms we can follow what we does.

In story no one voted yet. And my head is aching because of so many controversies.

I suggested first that we can have PM voting and review only in thread. Anyway, I guess neeme is not ok with this. As it is host's duty and responsibility to collect votes.

I won't press her anyway.

It's stretching on and on ... I guess one final decision after consulting neeme should be taken tomorrow ... till then people can halt the scoring process and if they've finished reading then post the reviews !!

I just read The Pm Receibed by twinkey... She said that i have To responed To this Thread..

What I responed i dont knw.. When nandini already posted Her Votes Points on the STory Thread..

Guys Let me tell u all That, as a host it was My first Choice that we Vote For Story Contest like "Vote For 3 Stories"... Which was the basic Voting method on other Contest..

I told this To Chiinu..She reply to me That she will talk abt this with VIS..As she knws well abt this..Then She Told me abt Rating each Story ...

I was Not Comfitable with this Rating method...Then I agredd Bcz i came to knw That it is a Wish of Members of This Forum.. I said Yes For This Method... Then According to the last PM Of The Chiinnu To all The hosts...it was clearly written there...That Votes will not be acceptd by Pm's..

So according to that Votes should be posted On Thread..and Rating all the Stories was Correct.. i made My Mind according to that... Finding Votes for 12 stories from so many pages is Not an easy task.but still i agredd and also i asked From Chinnu abt this Then she tell me that i write thereThat people Will PM to me Their Votes.. again change... Then i said That i m not comfitable With that.. I m busy on another Forum Too.. I m receiving so many Pm's Daily and managing with all is Diffcult for me...

I thought Peoples Of this Forum are Much mature..They will like Open Voting... And Reviews.. I dont understand Y peoples dont like that other may knw abt their stories..Y peoples are afraid that IF Others will comes to knw abt their marks of their Stories ..😕😕

What is the mean of This contest?? if everythng is secret..Other than the name of winner..

From the start of this contest There is nothng in this Contest Which is according to the My wish.. i was handling this alone..Bcz peoples was asking me everythng abt the contest through PM. M happy that u guys are Discussing this Issue at this Thread atleast...

This Story Contest Is Urs Guys.. there is no Contribution of mine. U Guys Decide what U want..and Let me Knw...And Iff Someone Else Want too do this. Collecting Votes and Annouce the winner.. Then Go Ahead..

It is nothing to do with maturity of CID forum. CID forum members are mature enough to accept open votes for all other contests. It's just the story contest which we want marks-based voting...that too PM based because

1. Marks based will force all raters to read all stories, whereas X Y Z voting may mean that the rater may have just read 3 and had no time to read the rest.

2. People want detailed feedback on their stories for the effort that has gone into it.

3. Some raters are not comfortable posting the marks openly because they may not like their friend's story and may like some other story more and may be hesitant about saying that openly. The issue is not with the writers, but with the raters.

4. We want honest ratings. If the ratings are posted openly, it may not be honest.

5. All these points were discussed long ago and we had debated for several days and arrived at the best method of holding story contest here. It was accepted by many regular writers and we were enjoying holding story contests on this forum until now.

6. What is the mean of This contest?? if everythng is secret..

The meaning is that we 12 participants have put in a lot of effort into it and want others to enjoy the stories and not turn this into an unpleasant experience. Winning or losing is not the ultimate goal here.

We would have liked some encouraging words from the non-participants and organisers.

One one hand we see the organiser reading 2 stories and saying that she's 'disappointed' with a smiley (later deleting it), then saying that CId forum members are not mature enough and on the other hand people fighting over how the voting should be or should not be.

These are not really encouraging signals. I've had enough. Sorry if anyone is hurt. I am done with this.

Why such a huge discussion yaar ???? Why spoil his b'day thread with arguments !!!! Its just so depressing to see ... ine enters they're hero's b'day thread only to ffind so many posts filled with ... or the 'deleted' message. ... let's end the rgument here ...

But This Time GUys I m very Much Tired From this contest... From start Too now I m handling so many issues alone... Bcz Peoples dont want to post anythng here..They dont want to creat any issue.. This Is first time u guys are disccsuing this issue Here...

First Plot Issue...

Then So many confusion issue.

Date Issue..

Date extend Issue

People Demands Send our entries back.They dont want to Participate.

Then Voting Method Issue.. (U dont knw Vis, But peoples are demaning different methods, some are Okay with Open Method, some want, selct best 3 stories method, some want Pm method, how i fullfill everyone wish??)

From start to now There are issues. There is one complete Group who is Silent here..But they have big issues related To stories...

What is The mean of celebration now?? when there are so many issues..For me there is no meaning Left for celebration.. We annouce This Contest on 8 Nov and today is 8 Dec...one complete Whole Month I m handling issues... Even Then Members are Much aware of Story contest ..This is not first time there is story contest on this forum...

I was ready for Pm Votings too..But now Not anymore.There is no enjoyment and celbration for me..Just Tension day by day. May be I m not the Rite person to host this Contest..

Someone esle Take The responsibility...Collect The Votes and Annoce The result...

I m Not on this Contest and Forum anymore...

Now Its finished ...I was First one who dont want to Creat any issue Thats Y i was Not replying here..i was Handling everythng through Pm's.. But now Issue are issue whcih are Not going to end...only one way i left.. which i m doing..

This is the result for me.. I m disheart from this contest... I was Here To convence Each and everyone.. So that anyhow i can make This contest Sucessfull.. and my aim was completed..now there is no need of mine
