Neeme a much needed venting all our well founded frustrations thread on each of the characters. Good you opened one. I agree with all the people's suggestions here. And, here is what I have felt from a long time and more so after Friday's episode.
ACP Pradyuman: A name that sends chills down the spines of most people who meet him is now sending chills down hte spines of most of his nay almost all of his fans.😲 The ACP of "Bekasoor Shikar" where he had the humour and seriousness to tell his subordinate Viren to give his friend going to Olympics not to do anything to damage the country's reputation abroad and the razor sharp mind of "The case of two Abhijeets" where he questions Abhijeet that he had said he knew many Bhaus must come back.
Abhijeet: Instead of disappearing most of the times we need the Sr. Inspector who could quietly tell his firm friend that he would leave CID for him in "Onstage Murder" and joke with Asha about their marriages not happening to the incisive ruthless brain -heart driven officer we saw in cases like "Case of Missing Father" and "Case of Frame up".
Daya: We all know Daya is the original muscle man of CID. But, he is not only that. He is also the officer who showed millions in this country how to stand up for oneself against a senior officer in "Killer Lake" at the same time living his life as a true friend in all senses in "Case of Stolen Dynamite" and reiterating what trust should be like between true friends in "Behroopiya" and demonstrating that trust and feelings do rule cops and doctors in "on stage murder" and "Healthy patients".
Freddy: I would like to see the respectable intelligent officer who knows the true worth of humour in the police line of work back. An officer who can catch his own team in their mistakes but in a nice manner without treading on ego. But, he needs to be made a senior officer. can't stand him calling his juniors as sir. No wonder the man out of frustration is always fooling around so badly😊
Dr. Salunke: Where is the Forensic specialist who was an extended arm of the CID in "case of terrified actress" and " 7days to die" He had nothing against Abhijeet in old cases nor did he ever talk unnecessarily.
Tarika: She was brought in as Salunke's head. Does any of the writers remember this fact? Well when such havoc is created, such people don't stay long in departments. Do I need to say more?
Kaajal: Fitting into the space left first by Asha , then by Aditi takes a lot of home-work done honestly. Real life Kiran Bedis also add to this. So first assert the woman officer's respectful presence with the right attire woman and get rid of that horrendous pendulum of a ponytail. Doesn't help much for the image or the mirror.😒
Sachin: Agreed he knows CID working inside out. What with being in special bureau in a different name; then in CID under senior officer Ramesh. But under Pradyuman a lot of intellectual hierarchy along with experience is neede before getting into the bracket that Daya and Abhijeet are in.
Nithin: Needs to do a lot more than boxing homework to prove he is Daya's student.
Dr. Sonali: Dr. Salunke's classmate and a possible romance in college days between the two is enough to make any writer build forensic doctors centric stories once in a while. When this is not happening what is she doing when she is told to have been better than Salunke in the forensic field?😕
All side or supporting characters need to be mobilised from acting schools. The present ones who were picked up from "please give me chance to act I admire or want to be seen in CID so my luck in life changes" need to be lucked out so the cast can have a lucky day on the television airing time of each new episode.
