guess what. I recently met a CID officer in a writer's conference. Our office had its annual report in a swanky hotel hall. This conference was on in the other hall. During break I started chatting to a non-describable person thinking her to be a writer. I was telling how tough it was for me to think up a story and this and that. I don't remember now how the talk mended its way to CID and I got the shock of my life😲. This lady I was talking to is a CID officer.

In the course of my talk with her, I learnt so much of their work. it is nothing like on our favourite show. She used to see CID long ago and smiled with merry eyes when I mentioned the show. My age and boy! what a sharp mind and what observation skills. I felt floored, squared and finished when with a single glance she just told me about many of my collegues without even having met them.

What was she doing there?❓ You guessed it. She had come to present a paper and to collect a prize for her writing😲 and had to dash back as she was part of the team handling forest smuggling in the Karnataka zone⭐️

😍 everyone is this. I particularly noticed how the friendship is handled between the editor and ACP sir. Goes to show how human ACP is afterall. Yet his friendship is with an editor. That man too is no nonsense and not emotional one bit. In contrast ACP sir these days is made out to be a superman who doesn't need friends of any kind.😔

Abhijeet's house is spacious but not filled with curios. Was that his father's place or a rented one? He seems to be changing houses so often in the past 3-4 years. What was wrong with this house? The house is furnished to suit the needs with enough photos to show the person residing within.

ACP asking Asha and Daya to get a warrant before they land up at Abhijeet's house is more natural than the CID receiving a call and landing to break somebody's door as shown these days.😊

The episode starts with a guy giving currency notes to Abhijeet for checking and someone else standing at a distance and shooting a video of it. This would have not been possible had Abhijeet been staying in the flat. Hence the change. But I loved that house...it looks like an ancient village house in Kerala 😍. (I know its in Mumbai...😆)

Now we were having a heated debate about Abhijeet suspecting Sudhakar...and here we see ACP jumping into the conclusion that Abhijeet has accepted the bribe. It was hurting to hear 'itne saalon se tumhe jaanta hoon lekin pata nahin chal raha hai ki tum sach bol rahe ho ya jhoot'. Heart-breaking...but understandable...Abhijeet committed the mistake of not informing ACP about accepting the notes. ACP had to come to know this through the editor of a newspaper...the news reached the editor, meaning the incident happened at least 4-5 hours before and Abhijeet had not yet informed ACP...that was what made ACP angry.

I finished only part 1...will see in leisure, in detail and comment.

Another very small but an important thing I noticed is the way ACP Pradyuman talks of Dr. Salunke. With complete respect (doctor saahab se...) yet the affection wrought by long standing friendship is seen here. Not just this. Later on in front of his team, ACP never uses the singular tone while talking to the doctor in the forensic lab. Here it is clear that both the men are quite senior to these other men and women in the team.

This is so unlike these days where healthy relationships are hardly ever seen.

The way the team goes about to nab the culprit and the way the officers are dressed is so close to lifestyle of the ordinary people then in India.

@Visrom the surroundings around Abhijeet's house here is so idylic it doesn't look like Mumbai. Wonder which area it is.

It was pain which we see on ACP sir's face.. and you know what we saw on Abhi sir's face then 😛

Its a nice interesting case where all murders look like suicides... but then...our Trio just rocked the case... I didnt find anyone else other than Trio, Dr salunkhe and Asha...

I like th way ACP sir is talking to jeevan's mother while Duo search the house... 😃 and later when Daya sir is driving the qualis... and ACP sir is siting in the back seat with Suryakanth... Abhi sir didnt take the front seat... he was actually sent even more back... 😆 Not sure if they thought it would be easy to shoot the scene that way... or may be they felt that Abhi sir shuldnt sit in the front seat when ACP sir is sitting behind... 😃

Well... Watching Daya sir driving the qualis just felt like a treat to my eyes...😛 Kya style se chalaathe hai...😳

In the last scene... Trio smile slightly...but the shot is taken from very far...wish it was a close up... And after that... Asha pushes Daya sir... Doesn't look like he used any kind of springs in his boot to fall front... he had to bend his knee and fall down... anyways... it looked very original 👏 Reminded me of the case where Abhi sir falls... and Daya sir adjusts his position to catch Abhi sir. 😆

Nice way of finding out that the money is in the water tank..Daya sir ko aate ka dabba check karne ko do...aur phir...haath dhone bhejo 😆 and a nice dialog given to ACP sir..."Jyadatar log apne paise bank mein rakthe hai...lekin aap toh paani ke tank mein rakhthi hai" 😆

As I might be free for sometime now.. I thought I can pick up a WU, but then I am not sure if any of you have started any of the above cases WU's.

I know some people have volunteered to do some of the above cases... and i also know that everyone is busy just like i was till a week back... so... please let us know in case you are busy and might not be able to do it. In that case someone who is free can actually pick it up for WU.
