Ya, after all everyone has the right to decide his/her future. I thought he will stay long and will get a promotion which he deserves.

See, his position as a junior officer in CID has got nothing to do with his being on the show. He can still be a junior in designation yet get good opportunity to perform IF and only IF FW make the right type of stories and give him some proper scenes.

If they just make him stand like a statue in the background and say 'yes sir no sir', he's bound to lose interest. In fact in 2007-08 he was getting more number of scenes. Now he hardly says a word or two. Even the casual talk with Freddie is gone.

If I were in his position, I would have quit too. His reasons are not personal. Even when people resign from a software company, they don't write ' I would like to resign as this company is not giving me the right opportunities to grow'. People write 'I would like to resign from the services of this company due to personal reasons'. (Chinnu, Astonish, Am I wrong??? 😉)

We all know that the reasons are not personal. Even in Vivek's case, it is his desire to advance in his acting career.

Well reasons jo bhi ho ... the main thing is that Viivek is leaving CID ... I feel bad for the show and worse for Freddy sir !!!! FW hasn't given the necessary due to this young actor ... they've lost a gem on their own !!!
I'm feeling sad because of that ... I've really been unable to concentrate on my work today !!! Hope that they give him a decent proper exit !!

I am actually very happy for him...I am sure he is leaving for a better opportunity ... than wasting his time and talent here in CID. If CID would have given him enuf scope like(as much as HP gets) then i would feel bad.. but now i feel very happy for him and wish him best of luck !!!

We feel happy if one of our friends has got a great job abroad and is leaving...but then we do feel sad that we are going to miss them isn't it?😔

I just cane home from a hectic schedule and was welcomed by this news 😕 This is seriously the most sad news about CID.. When Tasha left i accepted it with the fact that atleast vivek is here wid trio.. Kya yaar.. Until this news i never realised hoe special vivek has become..

I agree with all u that he deserves better in his life.. And if that is why he is leaving i would wish best for him for his future!!!

Thank you vivek for giving us so much lovely moments in CID... I will miss you!!! 😔

Yeah... I know... That's going to happen one day or the other.. and we can't stop ourselves from feeling sad.. but... we should not always keep mourning... because.. afterall you see.. your friend is very happy!!!

Vis ... Remember... how much we wanted Daya sir to get out of JDJ and yet wanted to see him dance every week... Its the same here.. FW will never realize Vivek's talent... Its not just 1 or 2 years... He has had kept his patience all these years..and we should feel happy that he is out of this.. trouble of being seen on screen all the time and keeping silent while New faces 😡 come and take all the lime light

Ooh nooo😵 i was so happy since tomrow that i got admission in top most college and was busy since morning, I just opened up IF and found this news. I am so unhappy after reading all this thread😔😭.
