I know saadrita how you would 've felt. There was a time when I was very weak as a child and there was only 2 options. Either I eat an egg every day for 3 months or take egg injections for 1 month! Naturally I opted for eating and I faced the same problem. That was when I learnt the true meaning of one man's food is another man's poison.

You see even though we are veggies at home, my parents always insisted that we should not show disapproval when others eat non-veg. They had told us that food is geogrphy based and in modern times it is a matter of personal choice. So we had grown up at home in a different way and at school when this happened I felt bad.

I was even not allowed to be with them when I was eating egg as I had to improve my health. I was isolated and humiliated. I learnt to be my own company then and made new friends yes you guessed it non-veggies. But none of them ever insisted I eat non-veg. I now feel I came out stronger because of that. But when all that was happening, believe me I wished to be anywhere but there.
