Yes, do you guys thinks hypnosis really works. Never heard of it in my professional life. I know MPD exists, but hypnosis ?. I mean it can be done according to our psychiatry professor but when I asked him can it be used to make a person commit murder?,he replied saying - there no such research done.

But MPD yes I can say for sure it exists

Well it can make a person behave in a particular way, it is mostly used with people who have some kind of buried emotions. These emotions are brought to the fore to treat their effects

Do you know one woman had 14 MPD's

BTW, what's the full form of MPD???

And yes, certainly I don't think that by hypnosis a person can be forced to murder!! That gets a little difficult to believe!!

Um...hmmm! I understand. I wouldnt have believed if I wasnt in this feild. MPD's are rare though. Its a disease of the mind. Just like blood pressure and diabetes.

I dont understand why people cant accept mental disease just as any other disease

@Nandini: Oh, thanks for th einfo.... a little bad at short forms.... well chances are there for MPD's, but hypnosis which can make a person do a murder gets a little crazy......
