B. P. Singh of Fireworks Productions is all set to direct his first episode for his newly launched comedy detective show on SAB TV, Jaankhilavan Jasoos. The very experienced Director who is an institution when it comes to shooting the best of angles and getting the best of expressions out of an actor will be directing Vibha Anand and Amit Dolawat in one of the episodes of the SAB show.
Our source from the set says, "B.P. Sir has shot some breathtaking episodes for Fireworks' other popular shows, CID and Aahat. The element of intrigue that comes out in the episodes directed by him has been fabulous. He has also directed some episodes for his silent comedy show Gutur Gu, on SAB TV. But this is the first time he is directing a comic detective show. So we are all excited to have him on the sets". The story has a marriage set-up in which there are four principal characters. There are two sisters and two brothers in the story. The younger brother is played by Amit Dolawat while Vibha Anand of Balika Vadhu fame plays one of the girls. The story begins with the wedding preparations of Amit and Vibha. However, the bride is abducted and that is when the situational comedy starts. And the Jasoos played by Nitesh Pandey comes into the picture to solve the case in his unique style.
TellyBuzz contacted B.P. Singh to ask about this unique experience, and he said, "Yes, I am presently directing an episode for our new show Jankilavan Jasoos. Frankly speaking, I was hesitant to start with because this is something very different. When you are directing a detective story which has a comic touch, you need to tone down the suspense and intrigue factor and this is very tough. After directing few scenes, I am feeling quite confident now. The story has Vibha Anand and Amit Dolawat. We are trying to do something on the lines of the popular movie, Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron. I think it is coming out well".
The particular episode will be airing this Friday on SAB TV.
When contacted, Amit Dolawat shared the experience of having B.P. Singh on the sets as Director, "He is like an institution and you have to work with him to really understand how impeccable B.P. Singh Sir is as a Director. I have worked with him in Aahat and doing a comedy show with him is an altogether different experience. I am enjoying the shoot".
We tried calling Vibha Anand but she remained unavailable for comments.
Jankilavan Jasoos has gained a very good response in the first two weeks, and we hope this episode directed by the Maestro himself takes them higher!!
