most of the indian languages have something or the other in common....that is because the script "devnagri" is the same....the dravidian languages-malayalam, kannada, tamil & telugu are a bit different for they have a different script...😆 BTW IF ka ye bhi gayada hein pata nahi tha wise bangali so somehow similer to Marathi also but mixture of guju language 😆 you can esily laern Marathi lanaguage,

you can say "aami jiya" or "aamar naam jiya".... and for welcome its "swagat" as in hindi just the pronounciation is a bit different...it will sound like "shagot"....mostly bengalis just say "nomoshkar" to welcome someone.....Aur Tumar naam ki? ka answer "Amhi jiya "yane mein jiya aayega kya?
