Exactly.. Asha was a true cop.. Not an eye candy.. An indispensible part of the team.. Never mattered if the criminal was a female or not...

Lavanya was more of a model...Jimmy Kunal Nanda was no actress. I don't think her dialogues were ever dubbed by her. Her capris were good no doubt, but not the appropriate attire for a cop on duty.

i guess it is ok to have a glamorous cop, but she should look angry, responsible and tough when the role asks for it.

Chinnu, every job has a certain 'dress code'. I am sure you are aware of it...😛 So does a cop's job. In fact their dress code does not allow some of the deviations other jobs allow like Friday casuals/jeans and all.

Even I have nothing against glamorous cops... If she can handle thinghs the way they should be she is most welcome to dress up like a supermodel...

But seriuosly, Asha & Lavanya & the rest.consisdered in the same league because they all were lady cops.. This thing annoys me...

Asha is equivalent to Asha only... The void that was created by her exit, being filled up by Lavanya...🤢

I hate to say this...but I sometimes feel the lady in Surya has a better dress code for a cop. Don't scold me. 😵

Well since Surya is a new show, you can expect the makers to put in a lot of focus on the wardrobe of the cops.. No wonder their clothes are quite appropriate... But in CID after having ladies like Asha, Muskaan, Divyana, Aditi.. who clothes were quite plain & simlple..one fine morning you see Lavanya in a backless top & capry..Well you are bound to get shocked...

I don't know their names. I saw one episode...some blast happening somewhere and a lady and a guy trying to diffuse it in duo style but running away at the last minute.

That lady was dressed well.
