@ Prabha di - I completely agree with every single word of yours 👏👏👏👏👏👏
am just givng my reasons below, of why I dislike Sachin-Kajal(character not the actors)
CID is a show which is mainly loved for the involvement of the characters in the show..
many here, are grown up seeing the characters... and we love them for what they are and how they are.. 😊😊
we can't easily digest or welcome finish-of-job kind of performances from anyone..

Maybe this is an unfair example but still. When Dayanand Sir started he had almost no dialogs, for episode after episode he would just be standing behind doing occasional yes sir no sir. Yet, he gave specific character traits to Inspector Daya even in silence, a specific style of speaking, a way of walking, he always seemed on his toes - ready to run, always alert. Dayanand Sir was new this was this first series yet he came prepared. He gave inspector Daya a distinct personality. Vivek has managed to do the same. He is distinct, not like anyone in the team.
Even in this state where AB has to say the same things, act the same scenes; there is lots he can do. Everything director will not tell you. He can work on his body language, walk and speech. In short give Sachin a distinct personality. He has to create this character but he is not doing it. He sometimes aping one from the trio and giving unimpressive performance. There is still so much in an actor's hands if he has the drive. He is a well built man with good physique but he does not make use of his pluses. He needs to be more involved, unless he does that, he can't involve us.

When Daya arrived, we had no impressive predecessors. Sachin has that factor to deal with. Vivek took 4 years to win us over and Tasha took 1. Does that make Tasha better than Vivek? No.
And I, a BIG fan of Daya was won over only after 'Missing Bullet'.
Let's not compare Daya and Sachin. Please......

Thats what I started with that Daya Sir is now an unfair example to give. Thougth he was put up with Ashutosh Gowarikar and Shivaji Satam, it was not a cake walk for him either. I am not comparing Daya with AB of all things.

Forget Daya Sir, Vivek has been able to do it right. If you look back he too gave the character his own distinct style. I don't think we can complain that he tried to act like anyone else.

All I am saying is, that getting same lines and scenes to do is no justification for no improvement. AB has to improve in what he has, people before him have done it, its time he starts to work on it too.

am not comparing between anyone here...
"Missing Bulltet" was not a Daya Special episode.. but still Daya Sir managed to win over with his specific and individual identity ...
that's what we expect to see from the scene ... and manytimes Sachin and Kajal.. missed it out or didn't made use of the chance given..

See, everyone has an episode or a particular scene where they win us over. That's not possible with a team of 8 and disconnected scenes and vague stories.
Vivek never got an episode to himself, but I found him 'cute' from the beginning. I loved the way he used to accompany our duo to scenes and be an obedient junior without trying to act oversmart. The episodes didn't have a battalion brigade and the innvestigation was mostly done by our trio and Freddie and Muskaan.
I was so worried for him in that scene in the 'Khooni Mosquito mat' episode. Somehow Vivek won me over. The stories and scenes have a lot to do with it.
Anyway, I am out of this issue.

For me 'Missing Bullet' was definitely a Daya special episode.

i haven't seen missing bullet.

IMO, there is no use to compare these soap actors with our trio. They are not hardworking or dedicated. And eventhough they got many chances, they do not know how to attract audience. I am not expecting improvement in the case of t, as usual. And others are not gettng chances.
