Kay I still feel a kind of void between today's episode and AC part VIII....I feel like something serious happened and I somehow missed it.

Anyways, I'm gonna quit thinking about that blunder now. Today's episode was okay. I expected a real dud today. I thought our trio might be tired from over-working all of last week. But, they were in good condition. The story was a little lame...but it wasn't the worst so...

Strange that after part VIII's bomb blast, Daya or Abhijit didn't have a single scratch in part IX but ACP has a plaster when nothing really happened to him in the part IX.

Abhijit was in the dark throughout today's episode. I could hardly see him and it feels like I didn't see him at all. I'm thinking that he probably took an extended two-day holiday in Europe and so wasn't available for the shooting.

Vivek and Freddy were cute in their disguise.

Tasha looked very different...she seems to have got a new wardrobe+ new make-up artist. Ofcourse she was great as ever, but the make-up was really just too much.

And wow! No forensic?? 😲 I expected an overdose of Sachin-Kajal -Forensic today. But, that didn't happen so it wasn't totally disappointing.

Oh and in today's episode, in that haunted palace, when Daya-Abhijit-Vivek hear a scream and go to find Devyani's body? I really had to laugh at that point....that scream was the same one they used for Tasha in AC part VIII lol....even then I thought that scream was really weird and then they go and use it again.

Why do they always re-use the strangest stuff rather than the good stuff?

It was an good episode. Quite enjoyable and nice to watch. The story does have some potentials. Even it was nearly Aahat type but it's better one. The painting things could be much more sophisticated. Else it was an eyepleasent case.

Performances

ACP: Something went wrong with his cheek. He didn't get hurt in AC. May be its his house accident i.e. shaving. He was just in Bureau only. Nice as well.

Abhijit : Partly visible in story. Buts its ok with him. After coming from Europe it happens with everyone. He was brilliant, specially the final slap scene.

Daya : Same as Abhijit or little more screen presense. Good performance by him. Actually we don't need to define these three people and their performance. They are experienced and professional.

Fredie: Thanks no joking from him today. He was about to but Abhijit shut it down. He was given much screen with Vivek too. Nice one by him and the pair of him and Vivek.

Vivek : Again he proved his capabilities. He maintained the performance where he left in AC. This guy keeps surprising us each and every episode. He looked perfect in that disguised look along with Fredie.

Tasha : She did awesome job. At least its only her , who looks most serious about the story itself. She is almost a grown up actress now. By her expression and acting she proved why she is dependable.

Sachin : That man showed why he is the best at what he does. With his little screen presence he really made some attention to him. He was excellent at interrogation scene. His calm, cool and strong attitude made him ideal for the show.

Kajol : She is the added attraction of the show. She doesn't have that scope today. But with her small role, she made an impact. But she was overshadowed by Tasha today.

Direction was ok though, lighting should be much better and bg music are really irritating. Come on You don't need to add a music to creat suspense. Even in silent scene suspense is much more effecting.

It had a lot of potential, the concept and all, but various things made it quite the average episode for me. Suspense could've been created had there not been the annoying background music on for so long. And they just didn't know when to put what. When the aatma was introduced by the grandmother, FW could've borrowed some music from Aahat, which is better suited for the occasion, instead they had that nagging drone. 👎🏼 Anyways, there was a part where they used the old background music, and gosh, it was like a blessng to the show, I think it was at the beginning when ACP and Daya were discussing about how CID will never end. Why don't they use the old one more often??? Also, when Vivek was sharpening the knives, the microphone was so close to the machine, that you could not hear Freddy's dialogues at all....FW need to understand the technicalities a bit better.

The distribution was pretty much disconnected. When Sachin and Kaajal went to question the grandmom about the palace and ask her about the palace, they show Daya and Abhijit Sirs investigating the palace with Vivek and Tasha(?) . Similarly, when ACP asks Daya and Abhijit Sirs to investigate the murder site, they show Sachin and Freddy? I know FW has lost it's mind a long time ago, but is this what we have to bear with nowadays?

The concept was good, even though cliched, and the procedure for investigation was good too, forensics-free(which might be a relief for some of the viewers). But it became co9mpletely disoriented at the end, dunno why.😕

Daya and Abhijit Sir was awesome as usual. But they were not underlined as much as Vivek, Tasha, Freddy and Sachin, which I don't mind much, time they got their chances.

Vivek and Tasha were brilliant and grabbed the opportunities that were given to them, especially Tasha, and I'm glad that she was given more preference than Kaajal.

Freddy has changed a lot, and I like his new avatar, he was exteremly serious and sharp in his investigations, the downpart was when they see the 'aatma' for the first time and he goes back to the comical Freddy. That should stop.

Kaajal was good, yet not exceptional, maybe due to less screen space.

Sachin was average, I would've liked a bit more out of him, and it's about time he start working, he's been given umpteen opportunities, but fails to capitalize upon them. And I completely dislike how he tries to copy the styles of the trio, and I am sure it is not Hrishikesh Pandey doing that, but rather FW making him do that. He's almost like the 'Kumar Sanu' of the show nowadays. 😆

Yes, I hoped that the case were a bit better considering the scope of the concept. Disappointed with the effort being put in by the PT.

again a Nitica episode after ac8. Frankly i can say that it is above my expectations. As always in her style it was dragging, boring and average. I was so sleepy inbetween.

The start was so boring with unwanted scenes. The quarel between two were unnecessary. The junior artists were the worst 👎🏼 ...standing like stones...they have proved that they cannot act in their whole life.

The ghost story was unimpressive. I do not feel anything through out the episode. Th script was somewhat better than story. 🥱 the presense of trio added nothing to the plot. They were simply walking here and there. Acp and abhijit were sleepwalking.

The scene were lady running inbetween was boring too. The place wasnt so scary...overall an ahat plot in cid vine bottle.

The climax was an expected one since no one left to be the criminal. I wonder why they killed devyana/ni when cid was there...the worst place to kill. Anyway, will never watch this again.
