I think it's a blooper indeed. It likely wouldn't work with a dead body unless the person died only a short while ago and the syringe was held towards gravity to create a siphon effect... but that's unlikely here. The technical details used to be so much better in the older episodes.

Was there any connection between Nandini and the fake Dhananjoy?

when it comes to medical sciences many bloopers are there, not only in CID but also in other shows. but watching them in CID is a bit hard to digest. i mean they have a whole department in the show as Forensic Lab, they should make some effort to come up with some proper medical practices if they are planning to show them. return of daya was great to watch, but what ever was done, being a doctor i actually had issues with them. using defibrillator over clothes, all leads showing normal ECG pattern.. for me it was...

Dr Fahmi...nice to know that you are a doc...they may make bloopers which can be understood only by doctors...but simple stuff like the one yesterday, which even non-medical people like me can spot should be avoided. I studied biology only till 10th Std, but know that once a person dies, blood stops flowing and one cannot prick a syringe on a vein and pull out blood. Didn't anyone in the crew point this out?

we know that there are mistakes but then still we watch it i appreciate that they need to be careful, but running a serial for 15 years is no an easy job but. so when we make great things small mistakescan be neglected

They even mentioned a related issue (blood not profusely flowing out of a wound after death) in the "Khooni Lootere" episode last week, yet it's contradicted barely a week later. In the older episodes I remember there used to be someone listed in the credits as Forensic consultant or something... I wonder if they have done away with that.

remember,in one case salunkhe says the difference between death by stabbing while dead and while alive. Blood will ooze out and scatter if the murder was then he was alive...
In 'case of unknown body' i think.

may be it is off topic, but i think the use of chemistry in our show is not apt. Sherlock holmes know chemistry well, and how beautiful it was to read in cases like 'devil's foot' or 'study in scarlet'.

I wonder why cid is so ameture in forensic lab? They can implement chemistry for perfection...last day there was a chemical, not even the name.
