I agree the bank robbery scene from "The dark knight" was totally mind blowing...but I'm really worried about how they can pull it off in CID. It's something too huge to copy from...they'd have to be very careful with it. But anyways, I have my fingers crossed. And most of all I really hope I'm gonna be home to watch it this friday...

its a good strategy to follow something classic . I appreciate that . But sure they cant copy dark knight.

They can do a joker stuff, a bank robber that is similar to joker from batman series and then they will identify the man behind mask. May be a psycho, and will follow a normal way.

The batman's joker do not have a face. Thats impossible in cid. The criminal cannot be enigmatic after the case.

I think rather than trying to copy it outright, they should take inspiration from how well Nolan structured the details of the scene - the sophisticated actions of the henchmen and the cunning planning by Joker to stack the deck in his favour by the end (I love the "bus driver" part 😆 ). Trying to learn about these techniques and then trying to integrate them into their own style could be the key to it.

@Zerry - Great to see you back! Really missed you. 😃

we thought of dark knight, but other joker movies are there too. Like batman and robin, jim carrey as joker...that was a nice one too....it could be like him too...fun added joker.
I remember the old batman comics, a joker guy with cards....so fantastic.

Forget to say hi to zerry. Hope you will take poll this time, friend.

It really is my all time favorite scene. But, the technical details is what is being missed in CID these days... So, at the most I guess they'll just imitate the concept...😔

@Zerry - Indeed. Let's hope they try to emulate this one properly if that's what they are aiming for.

@Chinnu - I've not seen Batman & Robin yet, but judging by the Joker's depiction in Tim Burton's original 1989 Batman film and the WB animated series, I really think that won't work here in CID. It kinda reminds me of the episode (can't remember the title) where a gang of thugs kidnap a watchman's son to steal some valuable museum jewels, and their boss acted like a wacko, which I felt didn't work very well. 😆 But the bank robbery scene from TDK could be something they could possibly take inspiration from as long as the points are kept in mind.

i have the same feeling. They may be inspired by that first scene. But its late, dont you think.

Batman and Robin was a valkilmer movie, starring nicole kidman as his girlfriend, the fire guy in fantastic four as robin, tomy lee johns as two face and jim as joker.

The tim burton movie is batman, michael keaton as batman. The joker is played by a great actor, forget his name....the us president in mars attack.

@DemonStar - Oh, what's this episode you mentioned about a watchman's son...I don't think I've seen it [:S]

Anyways...all we can do is, "hope for the best"

the return of the jewel thief, aman varmma's thief was superb. He reminds me if joker from batman movies.

Zerry the technicl perfection is worst in cid. They never use any new stuff, the same old tricks with the koogle. The critical scenes were done as the worst ever in cid.

I wonder who plays joker in cid. There was a nice performer in aahat as joker. I have seen him accidently.
