Besides managing to be among the top 10 shows when it came to TRPs, CID made news again when Satam quit the show last week!

Loyal viewers not only showered Anandi with messages of good wishes, but also took pride in being part of the show which completed 1000 episodes this year. While Anandi and Shiv's wedding track sent across layers of social messages encouraging social reforms in the country, audiences simply loved Anandi breaking the shackles of social conformity to lead by example. What's amusing is the mint fresh appeal that the couple radiates even after 1000 episodes of the show. Taarak Mehta..., not only emerged as a strong brand on TV, but it also enjoys the privilege of being part of the 1000 episode brigade of the year.

A TRP tripper for months on end, Diya Aur Baati Hum hogged the limelight is still going strong. The audience seemed to have related to the characters of Suraj ( Anas Rashid) and Sandhya (Deepika Singh) in their de-glam avatars. The powerpacked performance by Neelu Vaghela as the domineering matriarch Bhabo also fetched the show the needed emotional quotient. While the protagonist's trials and tribulations to reach her goals are yet to unravel, the show nonetheless kept the audience glued to the TV.

Effervescent, enthusiastic and full of verve - the kids simply bowled over the host, the judges and more important, the audience as they made flamboyant moves on the dance floor.
