But I had to share something that happened today.

It was 11:30 ish and I was in my car with my dad to buy some stuff in my neighbourhood. As we were going on the other side of the median three 2 wheelers crashed into each other. It was like magic all three together and a load of noise.😲 We stopped the car and I quickly ran up with my water bottle. A young boy(looked too young) was riding a scooter taking food to be sold getting into temporary fits as he was pinned down by all the 3 vehicles and the food. He was moved to teh side and was laid down on hte foot path. Another man and me gave first aid reducing his shock we were all so intent on getting this boy to come out of his shock that all the people gathered there did not take down the registration numbers of the other 2 bikes. They looked from very well to do families. The boy on the footpath was repeating that he had to sell teh food. Now these 5 other boys quietly slipped away. There was no way I could have talked to them a si was busy with the other man to get this boy to medical safety. How I wished the others had looked into this and made the those boys realise their part in the entire accident.

This made me realise how all pervading smartness our officers have displayed since the serial began. I could not help but remember the awareness dialogues our core four have always told the general public when incidents occur especially tha tof having observed what was happening around them and responding to it not reacting. I also remembered KS Ins. Deshmukh dealing with his 5 whenever they needed to toe the line.

How i wish someone had done that today to the boys speeding on their bikes not seeing that a poor boy on the scooter was showing that he was taking a turn. I just hope he will not have to pay for this entire accident that has happened today.

I was the only woman giving first aid with the other man. Even other men were crowding around needing to be told what they had to do! I truly felt watching CID and KS has made me more aware of many things around me. I thank the other man who is a complete stranger for having taken charge as he did and for allowing me to do my bit there by reducing a lot of complications.

Thank you to these two serials and ofcourse more to CID as it is on for 15 years and making a difference.😊
