Well for me 2010 was a mixed bag... Am not wasting my breath on some really bad epis.... In fact the yr started wt a bad episode... I expected a dhamaka episode, it being a new year... But no, a simple khoon ka episode with a lame ending.

My favourite 2010 case is so far Khooni Ki Holi, with Abhijeet at his best !

I agree with Visrom when it comes to Daya- He seems to have entered a shell... Maybe personally he is going thru some phases... But he is bouncing back, as shown in Abhijeet In Coma and the kidnapped kid case.

Khatra Bomb Ka was another gud 2010 case, probably because of its thrill factor and daya-abhi scene...

The most emotional 2010 epis were Abhijeet In Coma and Acp Ka Giraftar. The former was well written and the latter was a bit unrealistic...

2010 started well for me however in the Re-run aspect- I got to see some old treasures.....

I started this thread and then forgot about it.

The year started on a bad note with one dud followed with another. Things started to improve somewhere in late Feb- Early March. However the biggest blunder made by FW and SONY during this time is Double Dose with Large Cast, that has lead to a major downfall in the Standards of CID, more apparent in the second half of the year. The second half has started on a disastrous note. Waiting to see when things pickup.
Here is my rating for all the 33 Cases aired from JAN to JUN
BEST

Khoon Ki Holi [Bestest So Far, had everything we love about CID with a bonus of No Forensic]

Khatra Chemical Bomb Ka [Best So far since double dose started with double cast]

Abhijit In Coma [One of the best, the only loophole was the first shoot out]

GOOD

Manali Murder [Okayish case but what a treat to the eyes, Singh Saab leading this one]

Kissa Kidnapped Bacche Ka [Decent case with awesome performances by everyone including Support Cast. A Classic Example of how a good Support Cast and lift a case to great heights]

DECENT

Bank Locker Ka Rahasya [Interesting plot]

Khoon.. Zameen Se 25000ft Uper [Okayish case but full dose of Duo made it special]

Sangeen Jurm Zameen Ke 6 Foot Neeche [Interesting plot]

HIGH ON EMOTIONS

Sr. Inspector Abhijit [Weak Case but high on drama with brilliant performances, Duo in super form hence is even considered as the best case so far by many fans]

ACP Pradyuman Giraftaar [Very Weak Case but high on drama with brilliant performances, hence wins fans]

AVERAGE [in order of telecast]

Khoon Ka Raaz Jahaz Mein
Khoon Ka Raaz Ek Qaidi Ke Paas
Khoon Bandh Darwaze Ke Peeche
Khooni Deewar
Khooni Kamre Ka Raaz
Apaharan
Kissa Gumnaam Qatil Ka

BAD [in order of telecast]

Rahasya Shootout Ka
Qatil Khiladi
Khidki Ka Khooni Raaz
Khooni Aatmahatya
Zeherilee Laashey
Dead Boxer
Raaz Khooni Panje Ka
Galli Cricket Ka Khooni Raaz
Maut Ka Highway
Aatmahatya Ya Khoon
Ek Khoon Do Baar
Samunder Mein Laash

DISASTER [in order of telecast]

Maut Ka Aashirwad
Rahasyamai Darwaza
Heart Attack Killer
Manav Bomb

I would put Bank Locker under 'good'.
The 'high on emotions' has two episodes, but I wouldn't like to see both under one category. One of them is an episode I would like to see again. They need to be rated under 'Good, ok' etc.
'Zehreeleee lashein' has a cracker by Abhijeet in the end. That one scene would probably raise it to 'average' in my list.
The 'Jurm zameen ke 6 ft neeche' was another bakwaas. I would put it under 'bad'.

"Bank Locker Ka Rahasya" was interesting but it being clubbed with Aahat was a let down for me which is why the climax does not leave me with a good feeling.

IMO Motive of the murder was a total bakwaas but I liked the investigation process.

IMO That was actually a Disaster case, a total nonsense. Its only because of that classic last scene it is saved of being a disaster.

Yeah, but we didn't see any aatma in the episode. It is an episode which left me feeling good in the end.
And Jurm 6 foot ke neeche was (drainage mein laash) 🤢. Didn't feel good in the end. Another episode which banked on brutality of the murder. I hate it when they show bodies fried in Tandoor or being cut with electric saw, making bloody marks on faces etc. Murder itself is bad. Why make it nauseating? I would put this episode right at the bottom.

Not justifying anything, you have a point. The way in which the body was disposed of was Brutal - first Cut then Tandoor and then in the Sewage. However they did not show any gory scenes in the case itself. It feels worse if we start imagining what happened but it was not shown of TV like the Heart or Other internal organs being taken out or the Electric Saw Spilling blood. Those were really dirty to watch.

About Bank Locker, the very entry of the lady who playes the lead in the continuing Aahat Story was a letdown for me and then the Aatma coming out of the dead criminal just took away a lot of fun. But yes it was one of the better ones to come this year.
