So, they may appear in the first couple of episodes, but won't be frequent members. Anyways, my mind is made up, that I will wait and watch and if they try doing something like what you say, let's just say CID has lost a loyal fan(s).
Why will they bring in a second team just for an episode or two? They want to take the show forward. They need more people to complete 2 episodes a week.
Its all Human Resource Management and Project Management stuff.
To do a certain amount of work, you need n number of people. To do double that work, you need 2*n people.
A resource can do 'x' number of hours in a week and can complete 'N' amount of tasks(N in this case is the number of scenes), . This 'x' cannot change, because after all, the resource is a human being. Therefore the 'N' also will remain the same, unless productivity doubles.
If productivity doubles , it will lead to fall in quality of work.
