The count down has begun, about 11.5 hours to go. I have received 6 entries till now. Please send me your entries by 8 PM IST today (14th May 2010). I know today is the last day, but don't get worried or tensed, this contest is to have fun and enjoy. So just relax and your thoughts will flow.

The time limit to send your entries has been extended by 24 hours. Please send me your entries by 8 PM IST tomorrow (15th May 2010). We have 12 participants and expect 12 entries.

Hello Everyone, we had 14 participants out of which we have received 12 Entries. The 2 remaining participants or anyone else who wishes to participate still have time till 8 PM today to send their stories to me BUT to be fair to all those who worked hard to finish within time, I am presenting 12 Entries on the first page of this thread in no particular order.

A BIG BIG THANK YOU to all the participants for the wonderful response inspite of the deadline being brought closer by a week. I hope writing within certain constraints was interesting, enjoyable and a learning experience for you all. Do let me know if there were goof-ups from my side while coordinating this contest apart of the shift in due date or any suggestions to do better.

Identities of writers have been concealed, hence readers are requested to post views on stories NOT TO START A GUESSING GAME here. On Tuesday (18 May 2010) I will start a poll for the best story, till then everyone read all the entries so that you can be fair and vote for the best story.

Hey Prabha there were no goof-ups by you Infact I feel you organized this very effctively Keep it up dear 👍🏼 I just wanted to make a suggestion can we have reasons for voting, I mean why particular story is rated 1 3 or 5, the good points and bad points of the story according to the readers, This will help the story writers to develop their writing skills and avoid mistakes if any in order to give good stories for the readers in future. Its just a suggestion guys think over it, Also other story writers, readers and our coordinator Prabha, please give you opinions.

And by the way guys three cheers for the first success of our Story Contest HIP HIP HURRAY 🥳

Apart from reader's views on the stories I would also like to know about participants' experience during the whole process (without giving details about their story). How was it to write within a few constraints. Did you enjoy, have fun or were you stressed? How easy or difficult was it of build a story around a given plot as compared to when you start your story totally on your own? Please share your experience, that might encourage more people to join in.
