Look at the Bomb Robbery episode and even Talking parrot...everyone was upset about Abhijeet's 'death' and there was Muskaan - the most 'tough cop' explaining to Freddie that more people die of road accidents than World War II. She was able to accept Abhijeet's death so easily, whereas Abhijeet was the one who took the initiative to save her in 'Traitors in CID'. I expected at least some expression of feelings from her.

I never liked mukaan. Ever. She was tough and all but I guess alka verma's look was like that. She never showed any emotions. In short she couldn't act at all except act tough. I think Kaveri aka parineeta seth was much better at showing emotions than muskaan. She did that emotional scene from crime target : Acp pradyuman pretty well in my opinion. If Muskan were there she would have spoilt it for sure.

I agree. I too am not fond of Muskaan much; she had pretty much the same expression on her face all the time with one eyebrow raised up. She always acted tough and showed no emotions. While Kaveri never came across as a tough cop, but I thank her for not spoiling one of my most favorite moments of CID. I am so happy that a certain Miss L was missing from that scene; else I dread what could have happened.

I think Tasha is trying to do well in both departments and has been achieving some amount of success as well. This girl is really shining with every case, showing a lot of improvement. That makes me really happy. But there was one quality of Muskaan that I really like which I hope Tasha can incorporate as well. Muskaan all ways showed that she wanted to learn, she always had questions. She always wanted to know why the trio came to a certain conclusion. Her questions used to add to the logical flow of the case sometimes. That quality has been missing in all ladies after her.

It's like repeating a zillionth time but kya karein kehna padega Asha was perfect she was tough when needed and showed emotional side as well. Just check her reaction towards the end of THE CASE OF THE STOLEN CAR when Abhi Sir has just defused the bomb when it's a just a couple of seconds to go. You can see her relationship with ACP. Just like Daya-Abhi seem like his sons ACP never had, Asha was almost like his daughter but I have not seen any such bonds flourish with any lady cop who entered later.

At least we saw Tasha in tears in Behroopiya. Leave the actress yaar, what about the character of Muskaan? She had to show some feelings for the person who went thru so much to save her from terrorists. I always felt that Abhijeet had a soft corner for her.
In that scene in the forensic lab in Talking Parrot, they showed everyone crying - Daya, ACP, Freddie, Vivek and even Salunkhe's hands were shaking while checking the badge etc....they didn't show Muskaan's face at all. If this lady cannot act such scenes, how did they even select such an actress into a TV serial?

I was talking about the characters and not actresses as such. She did come across as "too tough for emotions", in other words emotionless. She really surprised me with her reaction in Case Of The Talking Parrot (aired 25-May-2007). I always felt that Abhi Sir was protective about her, he showed that very subtly.

I was about to type that word 'protective'. Yes....Abhijeet was always protective about her...even in the case of Killer Dogs....how he rushes into that room with wild dogs to save Muskaan. 😊
But 'Talking Parrot' was a case where she should have shown some emotions. Even ACP and Abhijeet are a tough people....but they have some feelings for their friends...(lets not get into Behroopiya here)
Being tough doesn't mean being 'emotionless'. This Muskaan was shown like that simply because Alka Verma cannot act. She probably told B P Singh.."look, I cannot cry in front of a camera, so please don't focus the camera on me".

I agree, Tough does not mean Devoid Of Feelings but these new actors do not understand that or to put it simply they just can't emote.

After watching this one scene, I felt that Shraddha Musale is better than Alka Verma...she can cry in front of a camera when required. (Aawaazein, Kidney racket)

You mean Taarika is a better actress. Sorry yaar I don't agree. I guess she was just more comfortable putting glycerin in her eyes over Muskaan, that' it. Aleast when it came to her core job of a CID Cop Muskaan was fine. Taarika is plain horrible as an actress, I want CID to get rid of her.

Same here even I'm tired of her doing nothing in the show, even i really want her out of the show.Lab mein bas ek forensic doc kaafi hai yaar .As far as Muskaan is considered even though I didn't like her much I thought she was good as a cop
