Hi, I haven't seen all of the CID episodes from the beginning, started watching it kinda late so I have always been a little confused about Abhijeet's past.

I just watched the Abhijeet's debut episode: The Case of the Stolen Gun. In this episode Abhijeet is referred to as Prakash and he has a wife and a kid. Where do they go in the later episodes, haven't heard anything about them.

Also I know there was one episode: Case of the stolen dynamite which kinda deals with Abhijeet's memory loss, and he is reinstated as a CID officer but I am interested in watching the cases in between these two so that I can catch up on Abhijeet's past. Does anyone know the names of which case(s) came between these two?

I am confused as to how a criminal (Prakash) becomes Abhijeet the CID officer, who then loses his memory and is then reinstated. There was an episode a few months back in which Daya's girlfriend was introduced (who by the way has also disappeared) and she accused Abhijeet of murdering her brother. In this case as well there were references to Abhijeet's memory loss.

Also I remember there was one episode where Abhijeet's mom was also shown (who I think later died), was she Parkash's mom or Abhijeet's and does any one know the name of that episode as well?

Sorry for such a long post, but I would appreciate it if someone can sum up Abhijeet's past for me and also tell me the names of the episodes between the two I mentioned above. Thanks so much. 😊

Aditya Srivastav first entered cid as a Paresh in The Stolen Gun episode. It had nothing to do wt the character Abhijeet. They are different roles. This case was aired during Viren-Asha time.

The Stolen Dynamite case was the entry of the character Abhijeet. Adi sir was offered 6 month contract to act as Abhijeet initially.

The two characters are entirely different. The actor is same.

The 6 months soon became 13 years, luckily for Abhi fans 😊 because aditya sir stuck to CID... 😳

@ nycsweetie dear there's no connection between Paresh (Of Stolen Gun) and Abhijeet !!! Stolen gun was Aditya Sir's first Case and Stolen Dynamite Abhijeet's
In Stolen Gun Paresh is the criminal who steals ACP sir's gun !!
On 21st July 2000 Adi sir entered the show as Abhijeet with stolen dynamite !!!

SO in total NO connection between Paresh and Abhijeet they are 2 separate individuals
