What annoys me most is when some of the ladies dress totally inappropriately! CID gals should always have their hair up and out of the way, or short. They certainly shouldn't be running around in heels and sandals! Please.

I don't think any of the female officers is ever going to get a substantial role. They don't stay on long enough to even get credited properly in the beginning. Tasha has been on for a while though. It would be nice to see her get more of a role or be promoted. Being a good inspector is more about brains and less about muscle. Women can certainly succeed as officers and they should show that!

If they concentrate on fashion so much, then of course they are incompetent. Dialogues and other stuff are a different issue altogether. I haven;t really seen any inappropriate clothing by the lady officers, just very bratty and fashion-conscious clothing. And as for long CID female officers, Asha was there for about 5 years.

She doesn't look like the old Asha...she has put on lot of weight....cannot fit into the role of a cop anymore(as far as our industry standards are concerned). Otherwise, I have no problem with a slightly plump female cop. 😊

Men gain and loose weight and if nothing changes for them, nothing should change for women as well. I am always all of married actresses, mothers to comback to their acting professions. Only if they do this norm that they don't work will go away. Today a Kajol is a hit, she is breaking this norm that married actresses don't work. I am always all for those woment to take the next step. And weight one can always lose, I am sure if Ashiwini decided to comeback, she know how she needs to present herself.

Well Prabha I totally agree with you and if you have seen All the Best movie you will notice she is quite in shape in that movie, but then too I dont think she would come back and even if she does she would do cameo not a full time role. But she had definitely more things to do as she shared the same space as Abhijeet and Daya. Even I found a friendly bond between Abhijeet, Daya and Asha. Their conversations were more like a friend talking to a friend and not a senior talking to a junior. She has awritten some stories for CID from 2000-2003 as I have read her name. Anyways I didnt say that Tasha is like Asha what I am saying the script writers are trying to show Tasha as Asha. Well lets then just hope Tasha gets more to do and Asha atleast does a cameo

Oh you meant from the writers. The truth is that the newer CID members don't have proper developed charatcers. Like we know Daya Sir is capable of doing this, Abhi Sir can say that. We know what to expect from them sicne we know them so well as charatcers. We know these charatcers as individuals, even Freddie.
Tasha is new just a year old but Vivek, he has been around for 4 years, can we gauge his reactions, do we know what he is all about. Inspite of having seen him so long I don't know this character at all. To me he still falls under the new memeber category. That is sad and the writers are to be blames for it, you just get actors as replacements and don't give them a proper characters sketch. Its so unfair.

Being a CID officer does not mean they should not look beautiful or trendy.
Every one needs to groom themselves. But they shoul not over do it. I like the character tasha but by the way she stands, the way she carries herself, I dont think she is imitating asha. But, Tasha can smile atleast. It will be good for her only. why she looks so glum, i dont understand.

There is a certain dress code for every occasion. One can be fashionable and yet look professional.
Long flowing hair and chunky jewellery are not for CID officers while they are on duty.
That way I feel Tasha's present dress code is good. The last few weeks, I mean...initially even she was having wierd hairstyles but now she has changed that.

I was just saying as an example...there was one episode where Tarika did wear some chunky bangles while working in the forensic lab. Definitely not appropriate for a forensic doctor.
Abhijeet maybe fashion conscious...but he still looks professional.
