Arre yaar why people trying to find similarities with old episodes, enjoy this one as a fresh case. There aren't too many ways ACP could be a suspect - its either he is suspected to have killed someone or taken bribe or helping criminals or leaking key information to criminals. There isn't another option. In the last 12 years these possibilities have already been exploited on some or the other officer. So there is bound to be similarities. Enjoy see it as a fresh case.

And everytime its not just about the case, sometimes a performace can make the case special inspite of a weak story. If you ask me Daya Sir's abduction case was a very weak story with weaker sceenplay but most of us loved it because the performance made it special. Even now when I think of Daya Sir in that chamber, I feel suffocated.

So Going by the promo, I am waiting to a good performance from Adi Sir and Hoping that Daya Sir will have a scope to showcase his acting capabilities.

This time he will be arrested for having connection with the terrorists head............. evidence to prove this..........

Remember in 14 Aug episode when Daya came to his house he said to someone on phone that something like he is not caught.. Its always question in my mind to whom he said this???..... May be in this episode I get the answer

I suppose they read the reviews on this site and realised that we all deserve some explanation for that piece of dialogue. So, they picked up the thread from there and made this episode.

But the ACP will never be involved with terrorists. Even if he has contacted them, it would have been with the intention of catching them.

Another thought came to my mind, another reason why this is not like the Face Off case. In that case ACP's seniors were already spying on ACP. They later involve get Daya-Abhi by asking them to see what ACP was upto. They start keeping an eye on ACP mainly to protect him. Earlier it was clear they were both on the same side, now we don't know what route Daya Sir is going to take; he shares a very strong bond with both of them. Freddie I feel is more close to ACP and Daya Sir than Abhijit Sir. He will be behind ACP. Vivek I can't say, he never looked so deeply and emotionally connected to anyone. He will be shocked, no doubt but I don't know him well to know what he will think. Tasha, no comment. Its going to be a conflict between heart and mind, realtionships and duty.

It has the potential to be a memorable episode, high on drama. Now its upto the the director, script writer and more importantly the screenplay writer who need to do justice to it.

if acp leaves cid cid will be half over .and i know they are doing this for our suspense nothing will happen to acp .it can be a misunderstanding .

He will be arrested and then proved innocent. But with some drama and internal conflicts to allow our favourite characters to perform.

I don't know why but this reminds me of "traitors in CID" episode, where, though planned in advance, Abhijeet had stood upto ACP and forced Daya to side with him. But sure, this time its different. Arresting ACP, hmmm . I wonder what Daya's take will be. Though we all already know, don't we?😊

Yup, I just hope it comes out well. All of the team has vast scope for performance here, especially Abhijeet and Daya.

I just wanted to mention one thing. Though we all enjoy every episode of CID, the ones that really set our pulses and heartbeats soaring are the ones which involve any kind of drama involving any of the team. Like some kind of danger , or blackmail, or accusations. We love to watch them save each other 😆...all those subtle "yeh dosti hum nahi chodenge " types.Their inherent trust in each other , their call of duty and the subsequent good vs evil.😃

Hence hoping for a great weekend this time.
