TALKING PARROT is one of Abhi Sir's classic cases. Pure Brilliant. Just loved the way he says "kyonki woh unlucky tha", "main CID chhod doonga". Awesome. And Daya Sir's angry scene, hey bhagwan I thought Lucky to gaya upar, us waqt sach much lucky tha. When ACP tell Daya Sir in the pub that Abhi Sir has died and following scene. It was unbearable. Everyone's acting is sooo good especially Daya Sir and ACP that even when you know he is fine, you get involved in the scene.

Cases aired on 24-Mar-2010
=========================

1. The Great Diamond Robbery
2. Case Of The Talking Parrot

Tomorrow's likely Schedule (I could be wrong)
=========================
1. Case Of The Body Transplants
2. Case Of The Missing Bride
3. Case Of The Missing Child

Some cases have been shown multiple times but we haven't discussed them much. I wanted to discuss such cases. I am starting with these three. Lets discuss these three case.

1) Return Of The Jewel Thief

Best remembered for the Daya-Abhi-Freddie Gym scene 😳 but I think the case itself was interesting. Aman really did a great job as Jonny. The way robbers looted the museum, to forcing ACP to give them money to managing to escape with money in the presence of CID Team and finally getting caught. It was a lovely lovely case. The first case when CID became an hourly show, one of my personal favorites.

2) Case Of The Headless Corpse

Best remembered for Abhi-Niyati flirting scenes but the case itself was very interesting. Transforming one's son into their servant to save him from the law was an interesting idea. The whole "putting bug in CID officer's cloths' was a cool too. I like another scene where ACP takes some Hollywood Actor's pic to a plastic surgeon and asks him if he can make him look like that. Towards the end of that scene ACP tells him "kahin gayab mat ho jana, mere do pehalwan aayenge, who bhi chere ko kuchh kar dete hain. Baad mein who chehra pehachana nahin jaata." 😆 About the flirting scene, manana padega Shweta Kawatra ko, I doubt any other girl could have pulled it off 👏. She was surrounded by three men aur woh bhi kaun - Satam Sir, Daya Sir and Adi Sir but she still managed to hold her own and pull the scene off really well.

3) The Copycat Killer / The Red Rose Killer

Another really interesting case. A serial killer being caught after years, that too accidentally tell them that he did not kill one of the ladies he is accused for. Very nicely done. There is one dialog I really love when they go to catch the killer. The killer says "jis aadmi ne itne khoon kiye kya who kabhi sach bol sakta hai, zara to akal ka istamal kijiye na sir". To this ACP says "who akal ke paas bhi hum gaye the par bechari mili nahin humen". 🤣 I burst into laughter every time I see him say that, ACP is amazing when it comes to sarcasm.

I was looking at the schedule on setindia, came across this CID Characters page. I am sure this must have been posted before, but I saw it for the first time. Daya-Abhi are so wonderfully described, perfectly worded.

Senior Inspector Daya

Daya is a very integral part of the C.I.D team. Apart from using his amazing investigative skills, he also uses his muscle power from time to time to subdue criminals. But he is an emotional person, he will be first the person to rush to his colleague's help, irrespective of the danger it poses to his life. In spite of being emotional, he is a ruthless cop. He instills great fear among criminals that they start talking the moment they know that Sr. Insp. Daya is on the case.

Senior Inspector Abhijit

Sr. Insp. Abhijit is a tough cop, he believes in out-thinking criminals. In the absence of ACP Pradyuman, he is the leader. He is more accessible than the ACP, but his personal life is a great mystery. During an earlier operation, criminals thrashed him and left him to die. Somehow, he managed to survive, but lost his memory-permanently. His past comes back to haunt him every once in a while and hence he doesn't trust anyone, or rather he can't. The only person he trusts is, Daya. They share a great emotional bond. Because of his forgotten identity, he keeps going through emotional upheavals, but when it comes to work, he is the best!

I loved it when Daya went back to the bureau and got scolded by ACP in his usual style and Daya standing with his head down. And when ACP asked 'Abhijeet kahan hai', Anushka replied 'Woh gym mein hi hai...unhe yahan aane mein sharm aa rahi hai' 🤣
Typical Abhijeet-style and Daya-style.

She is my favourite forensic expert. I love her in some scenes. We need more ladies like her in the team. Entertaining and good screen presence.

Dr Niyati Pradhan is one my most favorite ladies from CID. She was full on entertainment and great at her job. She is possibly the only one who could joke with ACP. Remember the Tiapan snake case or yesterday's Return of Jewel Thief case. Poor Taarika does not even talk to Abhi Sir much in front of ACP and this lady had the guts to flirt with him in ACP's presence. She is an awesome character and I miss her, I wish she had not left. I wonder what Shweta is doing these days, she is hardly visible, why can't she be back.

People say ladies in CID did not make much impact, I don't agree. Asha left CID 6 years ago and is sorely missed till date. Niyati left 3-4 years ago and is badly missed. Asha and Niyati, when right women were cast to bring these characters to life see what happened. They were magic

Casting Director ab to neend se jaago.

Yeah Shweta doesn't seem to be doing much these days. I wonder why they don't try and bring her back. There is no reason why we can't have two Forensic Experts. If Shweta has issues with workload (maybe she is busy with her personal life and that's why we don't see her much these days) then she and Salunkhe can alternate episodes or something. I'm sure something can be worked out if they at least tried.
