Regarding Shivaji's character: was he ever called Shrikant Patkar on-screen? I can't recall anything like that. Perhaps Shrikant was his name in the original scripts but if he was never actually called that on-screen then technically there wasn't a name change. Of course we don't know what happened behind-the-scenes.
