i dunno if this was the 1st CID episode evr shown on televison..but it wasnot the 1st one to be shot....dat i know cos i remember an interview where SUdhakar says that he was very proud n honoured of the fact that CID's 1st ever shot was by him...d 1st scene of that episode had him in a police uniform n was at the site of the crime...this episode was aired on the CID classic cases as the 3rd or 4th episode...not sure.. did ne1 recall abt the episode i was talking abt??? i guess the episode of KISSA ANJAAN AWAAZON KA..again im not sure..abt the name.

What is shot first is not necessarily aired first too. You might be right, even I recollect vageuly Sudhakar saying that he was part of the first ever CID shot. Shudhakar played Inspector Bhonsale in the Episode "KISSA ANJAAN AWAAZON KA" which I think is a different character altogether cause as far as I know Sudhakar was a Sub Inspector.

I don't know the case name...A criminal (played by pavan Malhotra, just call him Pavan) is on the run and everyone is looking for him. in a flashback they show how Pavan had saved Viren's son from being hit on the road.

Pavan goes to Viren's house and does some emotional blackmail and convinces Viren to let him hide in his house, because the police will not search a CID officer's house.

At the bureau, everyone is looking for clues to find out Pavan whereas Viren maintains his silence and does not reveal anything.

ACP finally notices something wrong with Viren and decides to go to his house. By then Viren is back in his house. Pavan asks Viren to drop him somewhere where the police can't find him. Viren and Pavan get into the jeep and drive off. ACP and the rest of the CID team then reaches Viren's house and Viren's wife tells them everything. They follow the route which Viren's jeep had taken.

By then Viren is quite far off and the realisation that he has cheated CID hits him hard. He starts repenting and all of a sudden he stops the car in a deserted place, asks Pavan to get off the car and points the gun at him.

At that moment ACP reaches the place and Pavan is arrested.

Then Viren tells ACP that he is resigning from CID. But ACP says that he has been a good officer for so long, and asks him not to leave, but take a transfer order.

Are you sure it was Viren's son? I remember episode exactly as you describe it except that I thought it was Viren's daughter that the criminal saved. 🤔

I don't have any of those episodes. I just list the names of the cases shown that day, it does not mean I have all of them.

You know, something occurred to me. Viren's child was around 10 years old at the time, give or take a few years. Over 11 years have passed since then. This means he/she should be around 20 now. I was thinking that in a few years he/she would be old enough to join the CID team. If you ask me it would be sweet if Viren's son/daughter becomes a CID officer and works alongside ACP Pradyuman, Daya, Abhijeet and Fredericks just like his/her father. I wouldn't mind if Vivek or Tasha were replaced by Viren's son/daughter, provided that the creatives give him/her something to do and not just stand in the background or make lame jokes about Freddie.

Today I saw The Case of Nailing The Suspect. Niyati Pradhan makes her first appearance there.😲 I forgot about that episode totally. And she was sounding so egoistic. Another thing is that Dr Wagle was mostly referered to as Dr. Vrinda. Maybe that's the same thing that happened to Frederciks. He was referred to by his first name initially, but not anymore.
