Finally got the name of the case that has one of my favorite scenes. During the last re-run schedule I kept waiting for this to come but they skipped the case.

This is from "Killer In The Jungle"

Abhi Sir is telling Daya Sir and Freddie about some strange case he read. While they are discussing, Mumskan enters and she gives Daya Sir a parcel. He hold it and them suddenly puts it on the table saying "Mar Gaye". Abhi Sir checks opens it and a lot of pics of girls fall on the table. He asks about them. Daya Sir tells everyone that his sister is trying to get him marrid and there are interviews on every day. "Can you cook", "what are your hobbies", "what do you do in your spare time"....To this Freddie says "Daya Sir you ask so many questions?" Daya Sir tells them that girls ask him these questions. Freddie is shocked ki girls ask him if he can cook, is very happy that he got married long back, else he would have failed. Then he turns to Abhi Sir and says that you are always very serious, nahin to aapki bhi shaadi ho jaati kahin na kahin. Muskan starts laughing. Abhi Sir reminds her of the rule that no one is supposed to laugh in the bureau. Only Hitler/Ravan (can't recollect) can laugh and immitates ACP's laugh [this is the most hillarious part, came out of no where, totally unexpected frrom Abhi Sir then with all the serious image], and suddenly Bureau mein ACP ke hansi goongene lagti hai and everyone rushes back to their work.

I loved that scene!!!

Yeah, he said it so sweetly. And when ACP asks what should an Architect's office look like or have. He says - "Models" and then quickly adds "Buildings Ke" 😆😆. So sweet.

I wonder when they'll jump back to older cases. 🤔

As for the new case: again "khoon" in the title? Seriously Sony needs to put a ban on using that word (and any variations and translations) in the title for say, 6 months or so. 😆

I am glad they are going to different locations. Else in every episode they had as scene INORBIT MALL with in the background. It started in 2006, I was in Pune then and had never seen this mall but still I felt as if I knew all the roads around it thanks to CID. And when I actually stated working in a place around that MALL, the first time I went there, it felt like dejavu.

Its been sometime since we case familiar houses and streets. I am happy with the different locations.

Hmmm, this is strange. After The Case of the Closed Room, comes The Case of the Stolen Gun, in which Aditya Sir plays a criminal who steals ACP's gun. So, the former was Viren's last case?😲 And he wasn't given a proper farewell???😲

And the surprising fact about it is that in the next episode, Aditya Srivastava makes his debut on CID, although as a criminal. But he goes on to become a criminal. Coincidence or....?😕

The Stolen Gun case was a 1998 case which Ashutosh skipped. Abhijeet entered in 1999. Viren had a proper exit in March 1999 when he was transferred to another city.
