CID Re-Run (Discussions & Videos) - I - Page 41

Yeah even I would like Classic cases to be really Classic which sadly they are not. Infact they are the very latest ones.

You know that was my problem or point of dissatisfaction from the Gallantry Awards. They spent all the time Singing Dancing. I only enjoyed the first CID Act. I wanted them to call each officer on stage if not all then at least the pillar cast - ACP, Daya-Abhi and Freddie. On stage and talk a bit about that journey with CID and each other, their togetherness of so many years but nothing happened. The kind of importance I wanted them to show for the team was never given. I was seeing the show for them and I just did not get enough.

However this time I am not mad at Sony. Last time the transmission was plain random. "Haunted Building" came one day and "Abhijit In danger" which is an episode before that came 4 days later while the concluding episode "Unknown Conspiracy" was never shown. So I am pretty content this time. Even the Shruti Story, the first episode in that series they showed had Abhi Sir screaming shouting at her for lying about her husband's death. And the episode when she actually came to stay in his house was shown about 3 weeks later. That was totally non-sensical transmission. This time it has been much much better. I would have loved it if they started from the beginning but in the given parameters I am happier than last time.

In the story "THE CASE OF 50 THOUSAND ENEMIES" aired on 22 Dec 09, Daya Sir told ACP that Abhijit Sir has gone alone to deal with some country made gun dealer. He said the last time Abhijit went alone he was found after 3 days in a car dikki, so he was worried for him. Does anyone recollect any such instance in CID. At the end the closing credits of this episode I saw 2001 Copyright. So if at all such an incident was shown it must be before 2001.

Those who are watching the CID Re-Run Marathon, did you notice in the concluding part of "THE CASE OF THE TICKET WINDOW", it seems like even though it was Abhi Sir talking, I was hearing Daya Sir voice. I know it sounds strange but what I felt. There was a scene outside the Cinema Hall where Abhi Sir is talking to Daya Sir on the phone, I was hearing the same voice from both sides, I did not hear Abhi Sir's voice at all. Did anyone else feel that way.

Yeh Phool Chaman Mein Kaisa Khila and the Case of the Nightmare are so similar. It also has Gaurav Gera being the one dreaming the murders.
