Hey Guys,
Introducing

Rant OF THE WEEK.

So this week, it's about....

Cinema Tickets Prices.

Ok haha here goes my rant of the week 😉😆😆

Ok, My nearest cinema tickets to see a film are hella expensive compared to other company cinema's.

My nearest one is VUE.

Ticket Prices@ Vue:

Converting Prices for US/India

Off Peak
Mon-Fri before 5pm>>>
Peak
All Other Times>>>
Adult 6.70
=
9.70 dollars
448.852 INR
7.70
=
10.5 dollars
515.623 INR
Child 5.65 5.65

Nearest Cinema showing Asian Films is one hour away or so by the time you get there so again its a Waste of money getting there and paying for tickets on top even though tickets are cheaper.

So it it no wonder people watch movies Online??????????????????

I mean if the idiot cinema people made their prices cheaper people would go often like they used to years ago.

Ok Cinema experience is unique but still it sucks. as on top a small popcorn is expensive and drinks.

😭😭😭

No wonder us students are always poor. Lol Haha Lets go america wher emy friends says that our
X-Large in the Uk is their small 😆😆

So what's your nearest cinema (hollywood and bollywood) and what are their prices?
Are they good/bad?

Let us know and have your rant 😉

Regards

GD DT.

Well the nearest one, is an AMC theater and the prices range from $7.50 to $9-10 and it also depends on what time you go...in the mornings, like 5 bucks and at night around 9-10 bucks =/

and the indian theaters are really FAR away from my house, i've only been there once, to watch singh is king😆 and the ticket was $8.50..i dont even know if that was expensive as it was my first time in that theater...in Canada the prices are waayyy cheaper! i only go to the movies once in a while with my friends...and the popcorn and drinks are a rip-off also! if you get the large popcorn , you do get refill's though..but the popcorn makes you thirsty so you feel compelled to buy drinks😆 so i mostly get a small and by the time the movie is half over, the popcorn is finished😆

lol in (Toronto)Canada i think the prices are cheaper, there are many theaters here which play Indian Movies. Plus there is also a desi theater, which only plays Indian movies, the tickets there are, i think 6 dollars canadian for adults.

so it's preety cheap but yea, most of the time i watch the 1$ DVD's which i get from grocery stores or videos stores. I don't like to watch it online and it's hard to especially if you want to watch it as a family.

My nearest the nearest cinema here is in the Mall and that's like 15-20 mins away from my house. The tickets are I think from $8-10 I think but we can sometimes get Student Discount. I almost never go to see the movies so it's not that big of a problem for me. In fact the last movie I saw was Harry Potter. 😳

Yeah, I almost never go to watch a movie in the theatres, and I have still to watch an Indian movie I really wanted to watch RNBDJ there but couldn't. I watched Alvin and Chipmunks on DVD a few weeks ago.

My local cinema is 10-15 minutes away, and plays both English and Hindi movies. They actually also play Tamil and Malayalam movies lol.

Tickets cost around 7, which now because of the falling pound is 500 rupees, and around $10.

It's not too bad, if you go before 6 it's slightly cheaper and students and senior citizens get discount too.

For those in the UK, Tuesdays are normally cheap days, where all cinemas sell tickets for 4-5.

Or even better ORANGE WEDNESDAYS - Get two cinema tickets for the price of one, which means each ticket is only 3.50.

Or (nearly done promise) Cineworld Cinemas, have a special pass, which costs only 11.99 a month, with which you can watch unlimited movies. it's a really awesome deal, cos that money can't even buy you two cinema tickets.

As for food prices, I normally sneak it a chocolate bar or two, and a bottle of coke in my bag LOL!

So yeah as you'll can probably tell, I go to the cinema A LOT!

😆 Yeah at Cineworld Cinemas & Vue Cinemas, Tuesdays are cheap days. For Showcase Cinemas I think it's Wednesdays.

I think with my cinema, how packed it is doesn't depend on the day of week, but which movies came out that particular week. So like if you went to see a movie in its 2nd or 3rd week running, it wouldn't be that crowded, but then again it takes away the fun. There's just something about catching a movie on the day it comes out lol.
