Ravan's quarters:
Daimaa is doing aarti while Ravan enter the room. Ira pushes Shravan towards Daimaa urging him to say something. Shravan requests Daimaa to decorate a sargi tray for Ira. Daimaa blames Shravan for parroting Ira's words. Shravan requests her again, saying she's doing it for his long life. Daimaa says he should stop all his wrongdoings... that will lengthen his life by default😆 Shravan says Ira has already promised to god that she will do the fast so Daimaa says she knew Ira would be insistent and informs her she had already decorated a tray for her. (Kya yaar! Daimaa ainwayi bhav kha rahi thi lol)
Ojha house:
Isha's about to eat a puri but stops saying she cant eat it as there's salt on it. Then she checks all the puris and says all of them have salt. Revathy says the servants are so useless for not knowing the fast is broken if salt is taken with food. Isha looks at the clock as its almost 6.05 am.
Ravan's quarters:
Daimaa sets out Ira's tray of food and also gives her shagun. Ira quickly eats a large plate of food.
Ojha house:
Its 6.10am and Revathy advices Isha to eat dry fruits instead but she doesnt manage to eat it as sunrise occurs at that very moment. Revathy says Isha should eat anyway as its her first karvachauth and she's allowed to make some mistakes but Isha says she doesnt want to make any mistakes because its for Sam's wellbeing. Isha leaves and Revathy says she will see how long she manages to fast for Sam.
Samisha's bedroom:
Isha tells Sam she is fasting for him and he replies she doesnt need to do all this. Isha says she is doing all this for his long life. Sam says its pointless and more like a punishment to have a longer life since his life is full of pain, sadness and no hope. Isha says he shouldnt feel this way and shouldnt say things like this. He says that wont change the truth and she doesnt need to pretend to fast for him. Isha says she's not pretending and she's doing this because she loves him. Sam says fine do whatever you want but dont expect me to play along as Iam not going to break your fast and leaves. Isha says she knows Sam will come and somewhere he still believes in their relationship.
Ravan's quarters:
Ira's feeling very hungry and complaining how can women keep this fast as she's already starving within a few hours. She sees Shravan eating food and she taunts him of how can he eat when she's starving. Shravan says he eats here everyday and stop eyeing his food. She taunts him again, saying he's less of a human and more like a gorilla. He says he was being considerate and eating less food then he normally does and then he starts eating more food. Ira gets mad but then sees Daimaa about to come in and sweetly changes her tone and asks if Shravan wants to eat more food. Shravan is confused and then gets her behaviour as he sees a shocked Daimaa in the room. Shravan replies that he's feeling bad that she's fasting for him and he's eating and then... he's about to eat another spoonful of poha.😆 Daimaa snatches all the food off him and says now times have changed and nowadays even husbands also fast. Ira happily agrees with Daimaa but Shravan objects that he cant stay hungry. Daimaa says he has to so he can prove their marriage is genuine. He finally agrees sadly and Daimaa gets back to work. Ira teases him now she will laugh at him for having to stay hungry. Shravan wants to strangle Ira but Daimaa turns around and looks suspicious so he pretends to stroke her cheeks lovingly and tells her to take care.
Ojha house:
Revathy is telling Girish she has invited female guests over to celebrate Isha's first karvachauth with them just as Isha n Kuhu arrive in the hall. Daimaa also arrives, telling them that Ira's name should also be on the guest list as she's keeping the fast. Isha's shocked to know this and Daimaa admits she's been shocked too. Daimaa tells them that Ravan have started getting along with each other. Isha says she needs to go have a talk with Ira as she doesnt get such a drastic change.
Ravan's quarters:
Isha goes to meet Ira and questions her about the fast and changes. Ira tells her its none of her business. Isha says she thought Ira wanted to finish this marriage asap. Ira tells her to leave, taunting her with her usual rants and adding that rich DILs from big houses dont come to meet their servants. Isha sadly leaves.
Ojha house:
Daimaa is directing orders in the hall to workers on how to decorate the house. Isha arrives and is still coughing. Daimaa asks what is she doing and she replies that she wants to check out the preparations in the garden as thats where the women of the house will break their fast. Daimaa sees Isha's condition and calmly tells her to go take rest and leaves with the workers. Just then Ira enters the hall and sees Isha from behind; who is still coughing in the hall. She gets a sly grin while she approaches Isha. Isha sees Ira is carrying a heavy basket of fruits (Ira's making expressions like she's carrying the heaviest thing in the world) and asks her what's she doing and isnt she also fasting. Ira replies in a bechaari tone that yes she is but since there was a lot of work to be done, she was also asked to help out. Isha tells Ira she doesnt need to do all this and instead she will do all the pending work and she gets on with it, still coughing. (Gosh Ira ur so heartless!) Ira doesnt seem to have even a little bit of empathy for her sister as she's coughing away and bringing in another heavy basket of fruits. Isha leaves to bring another basket while Revathy arrives and stands next to Ira. She informs Ira that Sam has scheduled his meetings till very late and adamant Isha wont be breaking her fast until she sees Sam's face so looks like she will get messed up. Ira says she's already making sure she does that as they both look at Isha carrying in another basket. Revathy quickly leaves and Ira is playing around with an apple in her hand saying Isha wont even be in the condition to get up by the time Sam arrives. She bites the apple by mistake and quickly spits it out. She asks god to forgive her as she only bit it, not ate it.
Evening @ Ojha house:
The female guests have started arriving in the hall and Daimaa is introducing Ira to the guests. Revathy n Isha are standing in a separate corner where guests are praising Sam and telling Isha how lucky she is that her hubby loves her so much that he must be fasting for her as well.
Just then, Sam is shown in his office as he is about to eat a bite of his lunch but stops as he hears his colleagues complaining about how on earth do women manage to stay hungry all day long.
Back to guests praising Sam as they say surely he will get Isha an expensive gift. But one lady says at first all men are like that and then slowly the value of the gifts start decreasing. The other lady objects, saying this wont happen in the case of Sam cos he loves Isha just as much she loves him.
Sam's colleague says if someone asks him to do the fast, he will probably give in after 4/5 hours. Another colleague says thats why its said that making sacrifices and loving someone selflessly are done by great people. Sam puts his morsel of food down. (Awww!😳)
Daimaa tells everyone to hurry and get on with the puja. All the women sit in a circle and are told they will be swapping their thaalis and start praying before that happens. Isha prays that no matter how angry Sam is with her, he knows that their relationship is pure as the divine relationship with god. Ira prays to god that her relationship with Sam should prevail while Isha's relationship with him is ruined. She adds she's fasting for Samarth as she believes him to be her husband and she will break her fast after seeing him.
Precap:
Sam is at Ojha house. A woman wearing a black sari (looking slightly battered) has brought the cops to Ojha house and points at Sam, saying he's the one who tried to misbehave with her. Everyone is in total 😲 (Hmmm I wonder if this is Tinnu's plan)
