Ira's house:
lra's mental breakdown continues from yesterday as she's washing and wiping off her kumkum vigourously in the shower and chucks something at the mirror, cracking it in anger.
Scene shifts to Samisha's home:
Daimaa adds some milk, rose petals and a ring to a thaali and asks Sam n Isha to find it to see who finds it first. She's rooting for Sam because she doesnt want Sam to be a joru ke ghulam like Girish 😆 (Isha n Kuhu have cute smiles but Sam has poker face😳) As Isha's about to perform the ritual, she imagines Ira's reflection in the thaali basically ranting about how she hates her even more than before... Isha becomes a little hesitant but Daimaa tells her to get on with it as Kuhu takes her hand and directs it to the thaali. Sam finds the ring. Daimaa exclaims now Sam will have the upper hand in their relationship. Sam unabashedly says he's glad because if Isha had the upper hand, they wouldnt be sitting here. Daimaa says this just a ritual and we only want both of you to be happy as she asks Kuhu to take Isha to her room while taking everyone's leave to go and see her "naalayak" son. As Kuhu is taking Isha to her (and Sam's😳) room, she keeps having flashes of Ira's rants from the wedding fiasco and worriedly requests Kuhu to borrow her phone to check up on Ira. Kuhu is about to give her phone but retracts her hand as she sees Sam standing near the staircase behind Isha. Kuhu takes their leave and Sam approaches her looking a little upset. He keeps looking at Isha with a questioning, sad, piercing gaze for a few seconds then just leaves.
Scene shifts to Ira's room:
Ira has changed out of her bridal lehnga into a simple blue suit sitting on the floor, looking distraught while her parents also there. Indrani's scolding Ira about how could she have been so blinded by Isha's hatred that she didnt even realise that she's about to marry a "sadakchhaap gunda" (a roadside rogue in english?). She says Ira's responsible for ruining her own life but Ira's dad (sorry dont know his name, please help) intervenes and says we cant consider this marriage legal because it was done by deception. He adds they should get the marriage annulled in court. At that very moment, they hear Daimaa's screaming for Ira from downstairs. Ira looks pissed as they all head down. Indrani asks Daimaa what she's doing here but she says now Iam your samdhan and I have come to fetch my DIL as per customs. Indrani rubbishes her requests saying this isnt even a proper marriage as it was done by deception. But Daimaa insists that the marriage is valid because Shravan and Ira performed the rituals infront of the whole society. Ira yells that she does not accept this marriage and doesnt want to live with her useless son. Daimaa retorts that she's not all that "doodh ki dhooli" (virtuous) herself. And the best part: Daimaa adds that devimaa has made the perfect couple as her son is a gunda mawaali and she is a manipulative witch. She ends with saying:"Ram milaayi jodi, ek andhaa dusri kodhi"🤣 Daimaa orders Ira to come along but Ira angrily says she's not going anywhere as she has no relations with her and runs off angrily.
Scene shifts to Samisha's room:
Isha's sitting on the bed, which has been decorated with roses for SR. Sam enters the room, approaching the bed very slowly (again with poker face) while taking off his watch and putting it away berfore sitting next to Isha. She looks up nervously at him... he gazes deeply into her eyes without blinking for ages... his face nears hers... she looks hopeful BUT he grabs the pillow behind her and a blanket to head off to the sofa (DARN IT!🥺) Isha is confused and questions Sam's actions. He replies that today they didnt become one; but separated forever on the mandap.
Flitting scene between Shravan/Ira (Shravira) and Samisha:
Shravira: Shravan is welding something in his garage as Ira comes there and demands a divorce from him.
Samisha: Sam says their relationship ended when she ambushed his love and trust.
Shravira: Shravan says fine, take divorce...its not like I was dying to marry you.
Samisha: Sam continues, saying this marriage is a farce and she's not the Isha he knew because she pawned off his love for someone else.
Shravira: Ira insists that she's not like Palak and she's the one who trapped her to marry him. She doesnt wanna hear Palak's name ever again.
Samisha: Sam says this marriage is just for namesake that doesnt have love nor trust. Isha has tears.ðŸ˜
Shravira: Both agree to take divorce but are interrupted by Daimaa. She's tells Ira that Shravan is no lipstick that she can just use n throw away and tells Shravan that Ira's no motorbike (phatphatti😆) that he can ride n throw away. (Gosh! This Daimaa is 🤣) They cant divorce that easily. Shravira question her that if both want to get divorced then who can stop them? Daimaa said she just spoke to a lawyer (god knows when?) who said that if the marriage is legal then they cant get divorced until after 6 months. They have to live together for 6 months so that the judge can believe that they at least tried to maintain their marriage, otherwise they wont get permission to divorce. (I swear I love this lady. What a bunch of hooey!😆) She says they have to share the same room whether they like each other or not.
Samisha: Sam says that they may live together but he doesnt feel that love will exist in their lives anymore as he goes to sleep on the sofa. Isha stares on at him from the bed with tearful eyes. (The sad version of "pyar humko bhi hai" from Chalte Chalte is playing in the background) Suddenly, both their attention is diverted to the dressing table between the bed and sofa where their imaginative replicas of themselves are standing. Both see a happier Sam is gently taking Isha's bangles off. They share a brief eyelock as he softly takes Isha's hand into his hand and plants a kiss while still looking into her eyes. The replica Samisha happily hug each other and fade away while the real Samisha sadly look at each other. Then Isha gets up from the bed and takes something to the dressing table as both see the replica Samisha's reappearing on the bed. Sam asks Isha why is she taking a pillow when she should be sleeping in his arms? He lies on the bed and takes her in his arms as they fade away again back to reality. The real Sam gets up and switches off the bedside lamp as both sadly head off to bed and sofa
Precap:
Isha takes out a white blazer for Sam and puts it on the bed. Sam sees this and takes the white blazer back to his cupboard and switches it with a black blazer.
