I am hoping that DJs and Zee have learnt their lesson looking at the fate of their current show that is going nowhere. I am also hoping that DJs do not use these writers as they did the same with Abhay track. This weekend, I was watching CB1 episodes with Abhay at PB. The interesting part was the quality of episodes went down the most during the last week of Abhay track when it was coming to an end.
So, the last 5 episodes of Abhay track were the most awful. Even his dialogues in the second last episode were not consistent with what he had uttered in couple of episodes ago. I was thinking that if they knew their track was coming to an end, why would they show Abhay as such a fool? Why not make him strong towards the end at least. Other shows do that. The answer was probably they weren't planning to end the track with the marriage and ended it at the last minute based on audience reaction or they were more interested in writing for the other show. But, that show is also going nowhere. So, the answer is that this set of writers are totally incompetent and should not be writing at all for CB2.
The last set of writers need to be banished. They were a joke. As for the ending most probably the plan was not to end the show but something happened.....either interest in other so called lucrative shows or a realisation that the concept of the show has disappeared.....somehow I am inclined on loosing interest in CB and more interested in the other shows. In the last two weeks nothing made sense.....everything happened out of the blue without any rhyme or reason.
Also, the success of PR and other shows on other channels should indicate that side characters should not be sidelined and need to be provided with their own storylines that are also tied to main characters.. I don't know if they have learnt that some characters need to be removed if they are not needed. But, not sure about with the exclusion of Gopi Desai. Nothing against her, but why bring in that particular actor only for CB2. Couldn't they keep her in some other show. Here she would remind audience of Amma who never got justice in CB1.
Angie I have no issues with Gopi Desai in some other show of Zee or DJs. She is a very good actress but like you I am not too sure whether the majority of audience will be ready to accept her as a member of the cast in CB2. The fault lies completely with Zee....I can also say PH but since the channel has the main say on the tracks, so the main responsibility is that of the channel. If only they had shown amma getting justice and paying badly for her deeds, then this situation would not have raised its head.
As far as promotion is concerned, they sound a little desperate. They did this type of promotion when they killed Dev. Then, they were leaking articles on how Dev is coming back but would be living with another family where the daughter is mentally retarded and so on. Or his new family would be more of a comic track like SGP. It didn't happen and they made a mess of it. So, these contrasting articles are indications of new hodge podge. They are constantly stating that Dev and Rubina would be more outspoken this time. Probably, they have read the views on the forum or it is another ploy to lure disgruntled audience who hated the way they ended CB1.
Yes they are showing that they are desperate and are again repeating the same mistakes. The new article regarding Avinash and Rubina missing their flights was published in the offical Zee site.....so are they trying to say that they know that the leads fans and well wishers are firmly by their side.
If they are again planning to play with the audience emotions then they should think that what will happen when the audience realises that they are again being played with. 😉
