My expectations had fallen since the burning track and after the leap and showing Dev with a fake wife and a fake kid (assuming they are fake and the creatives haven't further degraded the storyline). I agree that if the ratings don't pick up this week, they will speed up Dev's memory recovery and he will start having more visions and hopefully they will further limit the new family's role.
Again, last year the audience accepted Radhika's behavior towards Dev because she was shown to relinquish her rights only because was forced by the Shastri women. They then were showing her anguish constantly. Her behavior towards Dev was somewhat of a turnoff in June (at least for me), but they then kicked her out of PB and soon after Vishaka ran away to Mumbai. So, the audience knew that now Radhika would accept Dev and also they showed her constantly crying for Dev in her privacy. Also, her sense of obligation was somewhat justified as her father had given her love and her adoption was sort of imposed by her father on everyone else in the family. So, she did it out of obligation towards him.As far as Dev is concerned, his only gratitude logically should be this family saving his life. But, that any human being would do if they are in that position. The overwhelming feeling would be of anger when he realizes that they stole 5 years of his life and made his family suffer as a result. I hope they show that once he gets his memory back. So, if there is additional obligation, they need to show the reasoning from tomorrow onwards. He should be shown to feel confused, torn and having this unexplained attraction towards Radhika. Only then the audience would relate to Abhay, otherwise we will all feel like hitting him on the head again.As far as Kanha is concerned, now they are using him again and giving some silly explanations such as the ones they gave during the burning track. That was even more offputting than the actual burning. They are again justifiying that Kanha gives exams to his devotees. So far, Radhika has suffered immensely. Last year, there was a divine presence because they showed that despite all her difficulties, Radhika got this great guy and a great family for the rest of her life. But, now after the burning, all the people who harmed Radhika getting away scot free and she finally getting rejected from one person who always accepted her can not be justified in the name of Kanha. The creatives are hell bent on doing that.Also,I hope that they don't show Radhika showering love on Deepu once she realizes that Dev is the "father". Her feelings should be of betrayal and confusion. She should be shown to feel like quitting the job. In fact, I would like it if they show that she decided to look for another job as a result and has resigned from this one. Of course, Dev should know about it. Let him and Deepu pine for Radhika and let them come to her door.So, now they have payal scene (will it be broken this time?), water scene (would Radhika fall in the water or would Dev - I hope it is not Deepu), confrontration scene in the rain (after Radhika finds out that he has married and has a kid), Radhika getting sick and Dev coming to her house and taking care of her (prior to phool bangla), Radhika trying to convince Dev by working on his memory - there are plenty of circles still remaining.
Angie I think there is more to this family and Dev than what has been shown.......I mean he has been told stuff by someone and that has lead to this obligation. Thats why the creatives need to show that........creating a suspence regarding the reasons behind his actins might turn out to be a foolish action on the part of thecreatives. As for me, I don't want Radhika to work there........I never wanted to. I wanted her to pursue her singing but don't know whether the creatives will show that.
