Well looking at the episode at the first glance I was really upset but than like all of us thinking more got little calmer..

My reasons that this could not be Dev's child...

1. Since his first fake marriage the Child of Dev had very significant important for Purohits and even though Dev did not know about his fake marriage he had no relation with Vish and the child never came inspite Vish tried several times..

2. Even after the 1st wedding fiasco the sacredness and the sanctity of the 1st wedding was always protected and Dev never had any physical relationship with other than his one and only true wife.

3. Even after his 2nd real marriage and after consummating their marriage the child was not shown even though at that time also the important was the same for the child.

4. In sights of God Radhika is the only wife of Dev and she only has the right to have the Child of Dev and next Rajpurohit in line.

5. and Radhika's faith... her devotion... her love.... these all elements are the essence of the story we love so much and the Dev has the same elements in him for her...

6. and my uttermost point is that today Radhika touched the child on his head... If the child had any part of Dev in him... She would have felt his presence in him.. But she did not.

I do not know how the story will unfold but I have a feeling that the first time Radh will see Dev would be when she is doing the Puja and she will see the reflection of Dev but when she will turn she will see the lady coming near him and she will persume that this may be his child but in reality it would not be so..

But Radh would be devastated.... and I think this misunderstanding will go for quite some times till the truth comes out that this is not Dev's child...

And I think that is the reason only the lady and the child encountered Radhika today before she sees Dev with the lady.... and the misunderstanding continues for some time...

So let's see how Dev comes in front of her and how the story goes from there..

so let's see how everything unfolds to Radh and than I think their chemistry would be intact... So somehow Dev will feel something and the story would move from there..

I think may be they will show Dev has been adopted as son and this lady would be a sister???

( I am stil hoping for that.... ) who knows what DJs will unfold the mystery.. it was said that this family is funloving and positive... so I am sure they must have adopted Dev as a son and not made him son in law....

Thanks Eva di. All your points are valid. I also feel that Deepak cannot be Dev's child. I think Kanika had a baby with another man out of wedlock and in order to save her reputation she named Dev as her husband and as the child's father. Poor Dev does not remember anything about his past so he has gone along with whatever Kanika has told him. I don't know why, but to me Dev does not look happy at all. True, we need to see and hear more of him to ascertain what he is feeling and thinking, but somehow he seems unhappy with Kanika and her family. I am waiting to see what happens when Dev sees Radhika for the first time. I hope the CVs do not ruin those moments and give us some good drama and emotion. I have a feeling Radhika will believe Kanika is Dev's wife and Deepak his child. She will be devastated. We are going to be in for some very heart breaking episodes before even a shadow of the truth is revealed.

I think for that misunderstanding to happen they brough the Kanika and Deepak in front of Radh before she sees Dev with her..

And the way Kanika kept of saying to the child do not tell your Dad he will be furious... and that the father loves his son very much..

May be between Dev and his this adopted mom they take care of the child as this kanika seems to be mentally ill????

Thanks for being positive Eva, especially on the last theory that Rad would have felt a connection to Dev when she touched the child. Knowing Indian soaps, this would have definitely happened and since we have such "typical hindi soap creatives" who cannot think out of the box, this has to be true.

I'm still dumbfounded with this whole leap and am still trying to make myself believe that it did not happen. But that is just plain old silly of me!

I think and can only hope that the creatives are trying to portray a devasted/lost Dev because he does not have Radhika in his life. They're trying to build on that whole "separation" angle which had the majority of us glued to our televisions/computer screens in the beginning of this show. They want to bring back that anguish again.....I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this is the path they are trying to take.

Eva as I was watching I felt it cant be Devs child and the family must have used him as he does not remember anything.And he is always angry and sad and frowning so I think he cannot have any physical relation with anyone other than Rad.He kind of looks lost and always searching for something or someone.Lets see what these Cvs show us tommorow as a cliffhanger and spoil our weekend.

I agree with you.. They are showing him still confused and angry at his memory loss and basically with his life so it also means that he has not compromise with any thing except being nice with this family who has taken him under their care.. I think once he encounters Radh he will keep coming back to know what is all these he feels about this place and may be about this married woman..

As Dev does not know remember anything... He might not initiate any contact with radh as he also will thing that she is married woman..

so I think there will be slow progress on both the side with their respective misunderstanding till the whole truth come out...

More over they have shown today 4 years and 8 months so for the RP title the time would be up in another 4 months..

Either they will show the compelete recovery in 4 months or may be more time will have to be alloted looking at the memory loss..

But there are many avenues the story could progress too and all are good one.. Hope the creatives select the best path and make this story really great and interesting... with hopefully positive new family...

Devika: Yes at the first glance I was totally devastated but than I started thinking about it all..

Zee TV and Creative has seen the response of kiiling the lead role our Dev and the audience demanded that they bring him back... So I am sure that they will definitely know that they cannot show Dev having baby with someone else.. The audience will never be able to take it after they show how much faith and trust Radhika has..

I think the main reason for showing kanina and her son to Radh first so that when she will see them together anytime she will have this misunderstanding and her devastation..

May be she will go to temple to make her plea or may go on fasting or may be give her life so that Kanha may come and save her or may be Dev himself will come to save her ... May be they will show much melodrama or nothing at all...

so please dear do not be upset let's see how they unfold the future of CB

I keep on thinking about this new issue and every time I think I am just more and more determined that this could not be Dev's Child...

Dev has not come back yet to them means he still is lost and does not know anything about his past.. So he is still lost and angry and disturb and still confused...

This new family might have made him the husband of the lady as he might be just the victim of someone's cunningness and his amnesia... and as he does not know anything not even them he must have gone along...

But I still think who would do such thing?? who would let their daughter live with a person like that who does not recall anything and they know that he is not her husband..

Actually right now I am not worried about Dev at all.. Whatever happened in 4.8 years happened and whatever way the facts will come out may come out.. but I am more worried about Radh's reaction..

She has seen this lady with her son... now if she sees Dev with the lady she will presume that Dev must be her husband and she will withdraw herself..

I think they will show Radhika feeling really devastated and crying her heart out to her Kanha.. than something might come up.. but I think the RadhDev confrontation might be too soon.. or they will come face to face but Dev will not recognise her.

I think the moment Dev sees Radh or comes close to her he will fill something.. and he will be restless and will come back to the place I hope they let them meet alone....

Awwww what a drama.....

Eva di: I just saw your post...........What a coincidence, I also wrote about the same thing, about Radhika touching Deepak, and not feeling a thing....proves the fact that he is not Dev's..................But I think Deepak's mom was either cheated in love /molested or is mentally unstable.........And her mom is taking advantage of Dev's amensia to save their reputation.............
