Dear Mr. Subash Chandra

RE: Zee TV USA

Asia TV USA has tarnished your image. They have been editing all your programming to add more commercials. Their reasoning is to catch up to India programming. We have been watching Zee TV USA for years but only this year they have started editing popular drama episodes. Why am I paying them? Do you really want your image to go down drastically? Most of your clients are very angry with Zee Network.

I am sure you must have not known about this current tactics. Most people did complain, so to satisfy your customers, they did air popular unedited dramas at the time when no one could watch it. Some of these unedited episodes were also edited.

I thank you for bringing Zee TV to us home away from home. Till now we were very satisfied with Zee TV but for the first time this year I am very upset and dissatisfied. Why am I paying such money, when I can watch these unedited dramas hassle free online? If you air an hour extra episode India or extra day to raise your viewership in India, you will lose more international viewers because they don't want to watch edited episodes. Edited episodes appear very distorted.

If the objective is to air Zee Network Channels available in USA, then the programs that are aired in India should be shown in their entirety without chopping crucial scenes. This is an outright cheating to the Indian viewers in USA. This is highway robbery.

I believe that no other channels have deceived their viewers like Zee TV USA has. Usually in the USA, the paid premium channels limit their advertisements and commercials to minimum. How can you Zee TV deceive your loyal viewers like this?

If you lose your viewers then you will also lose your advertisement clients. In the end you will lose your Zee Network Empire.

My suggestions to you to bring back your tarnish reputations back please have this management team to stop editing any Zee TV episodes. Have them air all those episodes in their full especially Choti Bahu episodes, which were affected the most.

Hope to get satisfied response from you. We don't want to ruin your hard work in making Zee Network a very reputable company. I thank you for taking your time in rectifying this problem.

Thanks for posting and writing to them, we pay for these channels in the US and its not cheap!!! We get nothing but garbage!

hi, I am from US too. Yes granted they are showing edited version in the prime time, but there is also an unedited version shown sometime morning. If you like to see it, then maybe you can program ur TV to record that show and watch it.

But dont you think its good to be keep up the show with whats currently being shown in India. Before i usually come to youtube to watch it, and by the time the same episode plays on TV i always lose interest. Now that its very close to whats being shown in india, I am watching zee more here and i get to enjoy it on the big screen. So effectively i am using the zee channel more now.

Thanks Tazzi, that was a powerful letter. I was so upset to see that last night Radhika chanting more Kanha was cut out as well as the RaDev romantic scene in their bedroom was cut short.

Tonight's episode will be the one dedicated to RaDev romance, I will be really upset if they edit tonight's episode!

than you for this important letter please mail asap, exactly true why we are paying every month? for this kind of service ? all the good scenes , conversation has been gone on these days, my question is why they dont show the particular serial when it start in india at the same time? then they dont need to cut to make short , it was not like before but since 2 months it is worse , i dont want to pay every month to watch Badshah masala or deep food or raza dot com add instead of important scene of my favorite serial

If they wanted to catch up on India episodes, they could have stopped other stupid programmes that are repeated endlessly in a week like Chart Cafe, After Hours in Mumbai or other such programmes which are not originally from Zee TV India. They could have aired the shows more frequently, why chop episodes?

Now after being so close to the India episodes, just 1 episode ebehind now. They are still chopping left, right and centre only to accomodate the commercials.

Whether they are chopping a silly scene, a important scene, or a nonsense scene. I subscribe to the channel paying full money and I would like to decide for myself whether I want to watch it fully or not. Who are these people who chop scene and tell to watch what they have decided to retain after chopping !

I am not going to subscribe to Zee TV USA from next month. Why should I pay $15/month for getting to watch a chopped episode.
