Birju and Radhika... brilliant!

Everyone overlooks him but there is one person Radhika trusts in her life and it is Birju. She knows he is like her brother and he will protect her and not betray her trust.

He didn't, with her identity, to the point of a break in his relationship with Dev. He was devastated and burnt when Dev found out he had kept Radhika's secret but Radhika intervened on his behalf and all was well between two friends. She cannot hurt him again or have him misunderstood by the good Purohits.

Radhika is already in a turmoil and knows what she is doing is not right. Today Birju did not confront her threateningly but calmly and very seriously explains why shielding Vishakha is wrong. He is a comic relief most of the time, but his idea of right and wrong is very basic and he will help Radhika fight some of her demons! Like Dev, he understands her and she trusts him because he has earned the trust and he will push her to be strong and go to Dev and trust Dev!

Birju will stand by her and hold her hand if needed.

Brilliant!

Great post Gardes, coz I couldn't wait and already posted my own brief "dilemma" on the fav "musical" thread ... Here's just a direct quote ...

But overall I'm just so mixed up from today's epi ... Yes, granted they have to show the struggle and turmoil Rads is going thru between right and wrong .... esp when only GOOD people have such inner battles ... BAD people usually never .... Just my thoughts below ...

Obviously the "trust" issue is first and foremost not just today but in all relationships, real or otherwise, and the way Rads actions disturbed even daadi and dev too. So the question I have is whether Birju is going to spill the beans on Monday, even though he was totally against what Radhika did for a selfish and bad person like Vish, sister or no sister. So after careful thinking, is he going to divulge the secret to the entire family that Rads has been keeping to herself ? Is she going to be able to convince Birju in her favor on the way home, and her reasonings ??

However hard it is for me to say this but I somehow dont think Birju will tell the truth even though every fiber on his determined face indicated that he will. As we know, Birju is a simple hearted, honest and a devoted friend and brother to Dev, and a loyal member of PF. But my speculation / suspicion is that on the way home in the taxi, Rads must have "explained" to him why she kept it all from her Dev, and how much struggle she herself went thru for 2-3 days now inside her heart and mind, and even took babuji's money and returned Dev's back in the drawer, coz it would have been complete betrayal of their trust in their CB. I dont know, I dont know ... questions after questions ..

May expand on these thoughts later ...

He has quietly been Laxman to Dev and Radhika the whole time. Now he will take Radhika under his wing and heal her, at least I hope so.

This is for now but will come back with my thoughts.......now its just poetry that is coming out of my brain 😊

Gardes, i am sure he wont reveal the truth, but I feel Radhika has realised her mistake and she will tell the truth to Dev...and Birju will help her in explaining to Dev the reason behind it...

Excellent post, gardes, and great follow-ups by everyone else! I was really impressed with Birju today. The actor who portrays him carried out the dialogues very meaningfully and did a great job! Hopefully Birju will get through to Radhika in a way nobody else can and her mind and heart will become so overwhelmed with guilt that she herself will tell Dev the truth. Lets see.

Good post. He is very supportive to Rads. He will even confront Mrinali bhabhi in support of Radhika. He is very respectful of his best friends love.

Brilliant post Gardes. I only hope Birju supports her in doing the right thing and confessing all to Dev before anyone else finds out. Waiting to see what next week will reveal.

Gardest I don't think Birju will say anything...not by a long shot but I wish he would. So now Dev doesn't have one but two people to be upset and angry with...the two people he trusts so blindly. I hope one of them comes clean and hope its radhika.
