At Rads' mehendhi:

M: Radhika you look sooo pretty!!!

Dev in his mind, 'well she IS my bride…

R: Thanks bhabhi, but also, you are looking pretty amazing yourself, especially with your glowing face… Radhika said, teasing her a bit…

Dev in mind: 'Radhika, you know how to make people feel good…'

R: Bhabhi, how many months pregnant are you?!

M: Sirf… um 5 months…

R: Wow! You are doing really well for 5 months, Radhika the doctor, told her…

Vaishali came over to them,

V: 'Radhika, let's start on your mehendhi now, ok?

R: ji.. she said, mentally rolling her eyes

Radhika and Vaishali proceeding to sitting area for Radhika, and her mehendhi was starting to be applied on her hands.

And so the day passed, Radhika had mentally blocked out her surroundings and was staring into her drying mehendhi.

She wondered which colour it would come out as, as it was said, the darker your mehendhi, the more your husband loves you……….

And that's when she came up with her brilliant plan!!!!!

It was late at night and Radhika had scraped her mehndhi off.

It had come at almost black……. And this fact scared her a lot……

She prepared herself for the next day, her sangeet…

Rads got ready and sat in her room….

What was she going to do about her career?? She wondered…. Would her family let her work? Or would they be really old-fashioned and not let their "chhoti bahu" work?

She was sooo worried and immersed in her thoughts that when Vaishali ,enetered, she did not know.

V: Radhika, are you ok?

R: ----

V: Radhika?

R: Huh?

V: are you ok?

R:Yes…. Actually, Maji, can I ask you one question?

V: Yes, of course!

R: Maji, after marriage, will I be able to work?

V:Of course Radhika!! Is this something to ask?

R: Really!!!

V: of course Radhika! We wouldn't deny you the right to work. Now let's go downstairs…

It was halfway into the sangeet and Radhika was anxious to start her plan…. She was going to start it that night…. And she couldn't wait….

Radhika was waiting outside Dev's room… she was waiting for him to come… to start her plan…

Dev came around the corner, and saw Radhika there.

D: Radhika? Did you need anything?

R: Yes, actually I wanted to talk to you….

D:Ok, no problem, come in.

They both went into his room and she sat on the bed, silently.

What were you thinking about? He asked her after the long silence.

Nah, it's nothing… she replied.

Go on, you can tell me… he urged

Actually I was thinking how I'm supposed to seduce you…

And before she knew it, she had said it and her eyes widened at the thought of his response.

In dev's POV:

What did she just say?? Mine and Arjun's plan isgoing haywire!! This was not supposed to happen! She's supposed to be really shy and nave, when did she start saying stuff like thisopenly??

In Rads' POV:

Ha! In his face! I have just proven that I'm not a shy simple girl. HAH!
