Yes I absolutely agree with you that Vivek needs to speak up.. He is an older brother of Dev and He needs to protect the interest of his brother.

Earlier when Dev trusted Radh with him that time he did not do anything to protect Dev's name to be associated wrongly with Radh... But now when Dev trusted Radh to him she is his lawful wedded wife and his life.. Dev used the same words that bhaiya I am entrusting my life to you..

Her name is already associted with him.. They cannot be separated.. He needs to have a talk with his mom and point out the truth about the importance of Radh in Dev's life... as Vivek knows all the details of Dev and Radh's love saga. and now as he knows what is in the heart of his mom he needs to more alert..

He is the in the house all the time.. Isn't he aware the recent association of his wife and mom.. He seems to be pretty intelligent man.. HIs brain power has not sustain any injury.. he needs to observe what is going on under his nose and make decision at home while Dev makes those outside in the fields.

Dadima needs to put her foot down more firmly that Radh is the CB of the family and not to be treated as such. She is the respected Rajpurohitine her son would not like her to treat his wife in such a way in his absent..

I think eventhough Dev will come back unharmed Vaishali's behavior is not going to change.. Her eyes are totally Radhblind for ever..

Right now the condition Vish is in.. She might not step in PB.. Unless Amma come to know if Vikram is purohit or related to this people and than come to PB to claim her right and somehow establish her back in PB..

I think when Vish asked forgiveness from Radh at her Bidai was not for the reason that she is going to take Radh's right or harm Radh in any way but may be it was for this reason that she did something extremely wrong and have gotten pragnant out of wedlock and is carrying an illigitamate child..

And this news if comes out will be the cause of destruction of Babuji's honor and prestiage and knowing babuji he will definitely go for jalsamadhi for this shame. That's why Amma will not let that come in open. So I think for now Vish's entry at PB is not possible unless proved that she is Vikram's wife and carrying his child as his wife.. but it she is not than amma will not let that shame come out in public for now..

What an episode and what a take on today's episode by you Eva. After reading today's update I didn't know wether to laugh or cry. Misti is right. There is nothing but humor these days in CB land. And I loved your take on Dev and the Arabian prince, which is exactly what went through my mind too. I wonder how these actors can keep a straight face and do these scenes. Sorry for venting Eva, but since we have been through many venting sessions together I hoped you wouldn't mind. :)

Coming back to the show: Yes, I too wondered why Dev didn't think what would happen to Rads if something fatal happened to him. But at the same time I couldn't help thinking if this was poetic justice for the times Rads did stuff without thinking how Dev will cope if something happened to her like in the wrist slitting incident.

Very interesting question about Vivek, Misti. The only explanation I can think of is that for many of them family honor is THE most important thing. As far as Vivek is concerned, when Radhika was kicked out of PB, he must have thought even though he was being unfair to Rads he was justified in keeping quiet as it served a greater purpose in that the family honor was not sullied which surely would have been the case had Rads stayed on. Now, family honor is not threatened and so he may feel he can speak up for Rads but if he or even Dadi will do it is to be seen.

I too feel Vishaka's presence in PB will benefit RaDev. Vaishali no matter what will always find fault with Rads. It is ironical. Radhika took abuse all this time on behalf of Vishaka. She will continue to take abuse, now, on behalf of Dev. What a life!

Nice post Eva. A new perspective about the passing of Diya to Radhika.
I think this track is to prove that Radhika stands up with her Patni Dharam in front of every one and it is paramount to her.

I guess no one could silence Vaishali tomorrow. And only Radhika will be able to pacify Vaishali with her prayers and Vrats. This is one more way to prove that as long as Radhika is there Dev will never be in harms way.
I think Radhika going to VR or Vishaka coming to PB will never bring up the kind of trust in Vaishalis that comes with by Radhika proving it herself.

Eva, loved your take of today's episode. Loved the analogy to an Arabian prince and the passing of the diya from Vaish to Rads ... Avi looked great as usual 😉 ... his eyes are set on Bollywood but in the meantime he has snakes wrapped around his ankles. Since I am a mom, the only concern I had was for Avi's safety ... snakes gross me out (sorry if I offended any snake lovers out there - I prefer seeing them from a distance, farther the better) and to see one wrapped around his ankle - well it was not fun.

Also, I wonder abt CB's market segment ... I am fascinated by whom they are trying to reach each time they start a new track and the resulting TRPs

I digress ... I think Vivek should speak up and defend Rads this time. I think he should have defended her the last time , at least let her go back home with dignity. Since defending her the last time would have meant showing Vish in a bad light, I can understand why he chickened out. But now there is no reason why he cannot speak up for Rads and keep his mom and wife in check.

I definitely do not want Vish coming to PB ... problem is the creatives will make Vish look very good and in order to do that they will show Rads and Dev being weak. The scenario under which I would like Vish to come into PB is as Vikram's wife, with Vikram having a right over the PB wealth due to waaris or whatever. I would like Rads to be strong and defend Dev's rights and go against Vish and amma.

What I would like coming out of this cave track would be to see a stronger Rads, a recognition by Vaishali that the Radev union was made in heaven and she cannot do anything abt it, a stronger Vivek, ... I guess I am willing to settle for at least one of these

As a bonus, it will be great if the creatives listen to Misti and spark something between Chachaji and Vaishali 😉

Hey Angake: I am glad to see you posts after a while.. so glad to have you back.. Yea prince charming has funny twist to it.. but Dev would really look nice in those patiyala kind of pajamas.. (like the one he wore in fusion party..) he is tall enought to carry a swinging sword and a turban looks nice on his anyway..

Eva ..what a lovely post...u made me also feel like a kid to watch this,so in that perspective this is ok...And ur analysys on diya is almost came out true..in today's episode with Dadi's permission Rad lighted the lamp for her Dev..so Kanha did it purposefully..and i think earlier Vaisali's mind was with pure love for her son,but her charactoer changed now and it is hatred which is winning her heart and mind..so Kanha took the adhikar from her and passed to pure hearted Radhika..so that the lighting of Diya gets its meaning....😊
