Is Dev falling weak against AMMA?

Is our Dev trembling against AMMA's strong abusive voice?
She accused him of something he never even thought of doing it in his dreams and yet our lover boy was mute. He seems to be accepting the accusation.
Was he really wanted to create such situation that AMMA said? Has dear lady Rad imparted Dev with these useless traits during their courtship? 😕 😕
If Dev allows Amma to grow command over him, then no can save Rad from the cluthes of that evil. Even kana gave up straightening that old witch (wow…did I call her witch! That's what she is!)
He needs to cut off her atrocities then and there. Let her get frustrated and go to Badri, Kedaarnath for Theerth yaatra. I will pay for all her expenses.

Dev is only respecting her age and the fact that she is Shastriji's Mom.

the reason he was quite is because she is Shashtriji's mother. Also in this situation if he would have said something , amma would have created big scene. Dev knows how to respect elders. Also he cares for radhika so he did not want radhika to go thru trouble again.

oh i just loved the way dev told her how he will marry radhika and she is his life partner and all that and that is what quietened her. served her right for opening her mouth.
even rad stood up for him and that was so sweet.

Actually, I think he dealt with amma with great dignity.

She was hoping she would shame him by throwing those insults at him but he on the other hand kept quite.
There is a saying that "silence is one of the hardest arguments to refute'. Meaning that in an argument or in this case when someone is insulting you and you remain silent then the opponent has a hard time trying to bring you down or shaming you further. If Dev had argued back or asked her to shut up I think she would have found more ways and more reasons to verbally hurt both Dev and Rads. He sure was shocked at the way she spoke to him. Maybe this was the first time someone has spoken to him this rudely. But I thought he handled it beautifully just like how he handled her meanness when she said awful things about Radhika on the ganesh puja day.

And when he did say something, it was to support Rads with such conviction and dignity that it was kind of like he wanted amma to know no matter what she throws at them- their love, their emotional bond, their relationship is as divine and eternal as RadhaKrishna's.

May be you are right. He knows if he is not around, Rad will be subjected to torture. Unless she is in his vicinity, he can not stand guarding her. Dev knows this. Amma will take all her added frustration out on Rad. But this particular development is dangerous. She has completely stopped respecting Dev. I am not expecting Dev to go blasting Amma or indulge in dirty verbal arguments. But he is not Rad either that he can take abuse on the account of respecting elders. It's not Dev's character to silently accept accusation of wrong doings. I don't want even the traces to appear in him. Nada! Nada!

This time may be Ok. But its more imperative now to bring out his smartness in snaring ever growing Ammas evil tentacles. She still has tremendous influence on Rad.

I wish to see her scared to open her mouth in front of Dev. 😊

I completely agree with angake ........ Some times it is better to be quiet...Dev has not weakened a bit, it was only that situation was so delicate, that he chose not to speak............If anything it showed his dignity and the maan he gives to Shastriji's mom.............It would have been to cheap for man of his character and intergrity to talk back to Amma.............I feel that it was really great on Dev's part not to talk back............but believe me, if Amma continues in this manner, next time she won't be this lucky.......Also, this is further providing evidence to Dev, as to how Amma treats Radhika...............
