I think everything is going in parallel. Both Dev and Shastriji are bearing because of their wives. PReviously Dev wanted to marry Rads and Shastriji as a pandit brought the solution and Dev had to go thru kathin pareeksha and entire family helped him succeed. Now Dev as a RP will ask Shastriji to go through kathin pareeksha but later as a part of family will become part of it. Both the incidents will bring Rads and Dev close to each other.
Rads will understand that he had to take the tough decision as a RP not as son-in-law and later he will be with Shastriji in his pareeksha as a son-in-law and not RP.

Every incident during the phase of courtship is depicting the limits and resposibilities of the every individual.

My only hope is Radhika doesn't become cold towards Dev again. I hope she understands him and the decision he had to give is from RP not her love Dev.

Dev has always been just be it in his personal behavior (ie towards Radhika, Shastriji) and also in terms of society.

As Radhika said, whatever decision he made will be right and I think he made the right decision. Shastriji's father and grandfather placed the idols in a temple and not anyone's houses in the hope that the family legacy will continue as priests.

Though Shastriji did have the right to remove the idols, as a priest he did adharm even though as a son he may have not. His reasons as a father might be justified but not as a priest. Dev is right...I am glad he made this decision..it is to be seen how he deals with it as his son-in-law...

I wonder at VDVN residents . They are always up in arms . I do not understand , a temple can always be closed . .

i think its even pariksha for Rad also. so we could see now how she would support or react her husband as RP's decision in these circumstances. its a real test for also.
i think she'll def understand because she knows Dev cannot take wrong decisions and also he respects shastriji.

I am heart broken for Shastriji. His character has gone through so much.(heart attack, jal samadhi etc) I am excited that the character of Dev is still pure, just and honest, We all know this is not an easy decision but I have so much more respect for him that he is able to make this decision regardless of the personal pains it cause him. I don't think Rahika will be angry with him. I think she understand how difficult this is and she herself knows what is right and what is wrong. Afterall the upbringing from her father (ironic).

anu wonderful post as usual...I was so elated when i saw the promos..Dev is right when he sentences a punishment after all he is a RajPurohit and he is supposed to give justice to that post... He would have lost all the respect in the eyes of Shastri ji also if he wud nt have passed this verdict b'coz this is the reason y Shastri ji also respects and loves him..Shastri ji knows wat is the duty of a RP and he cannot mis understand Dev..

My only concern is Rads, as her family has always been her first priority and she is never able to see their mistakes even if they have committed a murder..She always thinks that they r innocent and others r at fault..So hope she understand Dev and nt blame him and become cold towards him..

As nw Amma wud use this punishment as a bait for her to maintain distance from Dev
