Why is it that all the rituals, vrats and pujas are so indispensible to Radhika for Dev's health and good fortune BUT the main two symbols of a Hindu married woman (sindoor and mangal-sutra) are not? Aren't these two objects the most sacred marriage symbols for a husband's well-being?
So, if she can shed the sindoor and mangal-sutra w/o any qualms why make a big show in front of strangers about the other elaborate rituals? She is such a confusing character.

Yes, these are interesting questions. Dev asked to take off sindoor-so maybe that was ok? And she used to wear Dev's Kanha around her neck. I always though that it was substitute for ms. He puts in lovingly around her neck.
But yes this character has lost all compass. If religious symbols are important then she should honor these. Her own father told her the importance of sindoor. Yes creatives are confused and mucking up her character terribly.

yes..but someone told her that if she does this particular pooja, the ill effect of removing sindoor will vanish...Now when she's letting this "paap" happen of making her unmarried sister stay with her husband, then sindoor n mangalsutra are petty things..
