Pati dharam means what???

Is sleeping with wife is called pati dharam and thats it

People marry only to sleep with each other?? that is called marriage??

I've seen many post bashing dev of not following pati dharam

Dev has once realised his mistake when vish ran away from the puja of Rajpurohit. At that time he made up his mind to not sclode her when she return back and he did so and apoligize also for not taking care of her and her wishes and promised that he will not repeat. For that matter any person if you get equal care from your wife they pay attention to wife's needs. When he went missing in the night of his second pheras Radhika was running behind him to find him and Ms. Vishaka was sleeping and dreamming. When he was ill she didn't even bother to apply oil on his feet. and radhika did take care of him like his wife would. Though no one know she did not perform Vatsavithri vrat completely but dev did. even though dev did perfom it with full dedication she did not care for that. Now why is she asking Dev to perform Pati dharm. If she was dedicated towards him and if he had realied her dedication his efforts of moving on would have realied for atleast 50%. But Vishaka thinks that consumating there marriage is the only pati dharam which dev has not done yet.

But i think Dev has truly felt before several time that he should forget and move on and truely put his effort towards that. becoz he did not get such effort i mean to say "True efforts" from Vish he did not succeded.

I think pati dharam means not only sleeping, not only sharing body but sharing your feelings, life, happyness, trobles, pains. Other than sleeping with Vishaka Dev has performed all the duties that of a husband. He even lied to his own family to save Vishaka many times. If any other Ordinary Man was there in our Dev's place he would have thrown out his wife if she dare to run off from such important day and ruining his and his family feelings and respect. But becoz Dev realied his mistake he didnt even ask her where she went.

Dev is doing his duty, the duy to look after Vish eventhough she's always the selfcentered one. He's taking care of family, he's not letting his emotions take over his duties. Then how can people say he's not doing his pati dharam??? Besides, he's not even married to Vish. So if he sleeps with her, thats a sin he cannot committ being a raj purohit.

when the love is pure sacred like ra dev he cannot think of cosumating marraige (fake ) with vish viewers have time and again requested producers for ra dev union...which is long due in past lot of episodes were wasted due to amma,s torture we want no more negativity in between they can show planning by chachu arjun vish mrinali

from the beginning radhika is having a raw deal suffering with no fault of hers she is married to dev producers should think about her happiness and future life

it is not good for girls and women viewers

so what if it is a soap

Vishaka is a tramp, so she says whatever suits her. Dev is just a piggy bank for her, nothing more. He is neither her husband, nor does she care for his type. He is just a means to an end and that's it! She has absolutely no morals and no character.

The dumb part is that she would be better of sleeping with some producers to get to movies. Why does she want to go the waris route and ruin her already pudgy figure? Is she a thinking individual?

As for Radhika, the less said about her, the better.

EVEN THOUGH VISHAKHA FAKED HER BEING A GOOD DAUGHTER IN LAW AND WIFE, AND THO SHE HAS HER OWN AMBITIONS OF A CAREER AS A STAR, WHICH DOESNT SEEM POSSIBLE, ACCEPTING ALL THE BAD QUALITIES OF HER, SHE IS NOT FOOLING AROUND WITH ANYONE. SHE MAY NOT LOVE HIM, BUT SHE'S BEING SELFISH FOR HER OWN SELF AND CAREER, SHE IN NO WAY IS GOING AGAINST THE FACT THAT SHE HAS TO BE LOYAL..DONT GET ME WRONG, THERE AREN'T MANY OR ANY GOOD QUALITIES IN HER..STILL

DEV ON THE OTHER HAND, AGREE THAT HE LOVES RADHIKA AND HE GETS NO LOVE FORM VISHAKHA..BUT EVEN THOUGH SHE WANTS A WAARIS FOR THE WRONG REASONS, SHE HAS TRIED TO COME CLOSE TO HIM SEVERAL TIMES, NOT JUST TO SLEEP WITH HIM, BUT TO TALK TO HIM AND WHAT NOT..DEV HAS NO INTEREST IN DOING THAT CUZ HE'S OBSESSED WITH THE GOONGI RADHIKA..WHETHER OR NOT VISHAKHAS EFFORTS ARE FAKE, ITS AN EFFORT FOR HIM..WHAT HAS HE DONE? THIS SHOW AND ITS CHARACTERS ARE DISGUSTING..GOING FROM THE PANDITS WIFE WHO SHOULD KNOW MORE OF RIGHT FROM WRONG, SENDS HER UNWEDDED DAUGHTER TO STAY WITH A MAN..AMMA WHO DISCRIMINATES ON THE BASIS OF CASTE WHICH IS ANCIENT BELIEFS, THAT TOO FOR A GIRL WHO HAS DONE EVERYTHING FOR HER HOUSE..MRINIALINI WHO HAS NO LIFE OF HER OWN AND SPENDS ALL HER TIME IN SHCEMING AGAINST RADHIKA..

I CANT BELIEVE THIS SHOW HAS RUN FOR AS LONG AS IT HAS.

Well i agree wid ur point that dev is performing his pati dharm other than sleeping wid Visakha... He has definitely hid two big truths of Vish frm the entire family nd is tolerating her nd giving her respect....

If we talk abt Visakha's efforts, yes she does try to act as a gud wife bt u knw dev knws that she is only faking them b'coz all her sentences starts nd ends wid Rads... I mean-------" she asks him if he wants something, Raadhika wud get it" so dev knws nd has seen Rads performing all the duties of a wife nd Vish only faking them...

Of him nt cming close to Visakha emotionally, nd still running arnd Rads can be justified by stating that Vish is a self-centered moron nd ther is absolutely no efforts frm her side to come close to Dev... In many of the scenes where the sad songs play nd they show dev roaming in the bedroom we see that many a times he glances towards the sleeping Visakha helplessely for some support bt ther is none as she slleps happily watever may be the circumstances which itself pitifies his state that the luv of his life cannt be wid him nd the gul who is his so called wife is nt bothered abt his feelings at all

hhhmmmm......... guys u know there is sumthing called destiny...... whether u accept it or not destiny is sumthing which even God cannot change in ur life.....no1 can ever snatch it away frm u....u r born wid it n u die wid it!!!!! Dev n radhika are two souls..... destined to fall in love, destined to be bonded in the sacred bond of "true" marriage, it was from the day they fell in love dat they surrendered their souls to each other.... their souls belonged not to them anymore but to the other...... the day they got bound in the sacred bond of marriage.... their souls became one.... cud it have been possible if they hadnt fallen in love in the 1st case.... marriage makes two souls one is a wrong conception.... its not marriage...its love..... marriage is only a social ritual which our society follows....love doesnt follow any such ritual....its purer than marriage...its real..........
in this case rad-dev were always meant to be together..... soul-wise....n they are...... they are married.....whether the society accepts it or not, whether dev knows it or not.....its their destiny..... but wat keeps Dev n radhika longing for each other's love, affection, care, warmth, touch???? not the bond of marriage but the bond of love.... n no matter how many marriages are faked....they will never be able to even think abt any1 else apart 4rm each other.....not 4 a moment....its impossible..... its true love.... n as the Geeta says "everything is fair in love and war"!!!!!
So even if in 4rnt of the society vish. is his wife, even though Dev knows dat vish. is his wife, their is sum1 whom no1 can fake to!!!! n dats God..... he sees everything, he decides everything...... n the only language he understnds is love...... n he knows dat it is radhika who Dev is married to...not vishakha....so its not Dev but God actually...Dev's destiny actually which doesnt let vish cum near Dev..... let alone even touch him......
Truth always persists, perceives n survives. n in dis case the truth is Dev-Radhika's love n marriage wich even God cannot deny let alone the society!!!!!
