JC, as much as I love Juhi, I never watched KumKum....I fell in love with her in her other plays so not sure about her character there.

Sad yaar. You would have seen a Kumkum who is not the quintessential heroine you described.. tho she holds the same values. Sumit and Kumkum were an ideal couple yaar. I especially loved the beginning of how Sumit supported her and after she widowed how they marriage happened and how both slowly accepted each other. It was very well portrayed. And Sumit is always the best husband in my POV. No one like him. And then the reincarnation track saw a completely different Kumkum tho still played perfectly by Juhi. I loved her because of Kumkum only. and the first clip i saw of her was the scn when she finds out her husband died in the beginning of Kumkum. She truely is one of the best on TV.

Rubina would have to go a long long way to match that.

And btw a lot of actors from Kumkum are in CB. Dadi and Vaishali.. they were Saas Bahu in Kumkum too. And they had similar relationship too. And Devki played a similar role in Banoo mein teri dulhan.

Juhi is truly one of the best on TV...no doubt about that and Rubina has a long way to go...you should have watched her in Choodiyan...omg she was fantastic!!!

Piya, thanks for the fantastic update as usual-Lately, I read your updates before watching the show! Su, Piya, Annie, Deefan; count me in as well as one of the CB fan catching up at work 😊 I have not seen Indian TV in almost 9 years, I had family visiting last november and thats when I got the zee, sony channel package. Little did I know I would be the one getting hooked to Choti Bahu 😆 I saw snipets of many different serials but I am a Krishna devotee and this caught my attention then ofcourse Avinash caught my attention too and the story line has potential, the rest is history,I guess!😉 However we are so behind in US that I did a CB marathon one day on youtube and caught up with whats happening now. I wait every morning to see the show, read updates... It's become a part of my work/life routine, I get settled in and after about 2 hours I take a break and catch up on CB-its like a treat! I hope they don't dissapoint us-I love the show and the fantastic CB forum👏

I really wish we could watch this together and have a CB party once a week -

Also, I wanted to mention that Shastriji might agree to Rads sitting in Puja if Dev suggets it, by saying, "mere liye daadi aur maa ka khush rehana important hai more than the puja. Woh yeh sadma bardaash nahi kar sakenge after my father passed away" and if Dev is saying that he wants this occassion to take place without a hitch then maybe Shastriji will not be happy but for the sake of Daadi and Vaishali's health agree to it. That way Shastriji will not look like a hypocrite bc the decision was made by Dev and rads agreed to go along he might just go with the flow...with a constipated look like Devki!

I think that will be it for now-they will not yet reveal the truth about who is the choti bahu but this time around Dev will know that it is Rads behind the ghungaat. He might not necessarily now that she is his dreamgirl bc as it is one of those soaps, silly things happen and they might not have enough time for Dev and Rads to meet since Devki and Amma are getting her ready so she might be under the ghungaat and he will thank her too but not know that she is his dreamgirlwhereas Birju silly guy might be the only one who knows it all (except ofcourse the marriage part!)

omg! they gunna keep on running arund...radhika will always step in on when vish runs away..even tho she shud telll dev but she will never will...ughhh 😡 😡 this is gettin crazy...if amma yells at radhika one more time abt radhika trying to stealdev she shud tink abt wat she said today...she is encouraging it!! that old witch 😆

Oh my God RadheKrish, I did the exact same thing! One day after returning from India after Christmas Vacation, I casually put on Zee TV and saw the epiosde where Radhika was getting married and the drama were vishaka comes back and re-dresses to go to Dev's house. I was so intrigued that I searched in youtube and for a week every night for 4 hrs I saw all the episodes. No access to youtube from work! So had to do it in the night. I saw this show from the start and enjoyed every bit of it. It is a little slow, but definately gets us GLUED. Now I first see this before I start my work :-))
